Her voice is beautiful even when she speaks. And she's SO gorgeus here.

Great interview. She smashes the haters. "Don't ever count me out. I sold 150 million records and had 15 number 1 records. You can't count me out after that!!" #POW She's at 261 million records today according to the RIAA, Nielsen Soundscan, Billboard, Rolling Stones, BPI, ARIA, and other music sources.

This is what she says: You can't just be like, you know, "Oh, somebody just wrote me off". I'm sorry, I thought I had 15 #1 songs before that and sold 150 million records, thank you God. But, I'm sayin, you don't write somebody off who has already achieved stuff at that magnitude. But the great thing is if they did, they now can say: "Ok well, we wrote you off, maybe we were wrong." Maybe the next person will get a chance and won't have to go through what I went through.

Thank you, Mariah, for acknowledging that Glitter and Charmbracelet had good songs on them. I LOVE Lead the Way, If We, Don't Stop (Funkin for Jamaica ), and Last Night a DJ Saved My Life. And recently Loverboy has been growing on me. And on the latter album Through the Rain, Boy, Yours, You Had Your Chance, I Only Wanted, and My Saving Grace are my favorites.

her mother is white Irish. she is multi racial whether you like it or not. No her race is not determine on her fathers, It determines on all of her ancestors that make up her genes. So if her mother was black and her father was white, you'd say she was white? don't be ignorant

no you interpret her how you like, she said by American law she is black but identifies herself as multi racial that doesn't really fit in to either side, watch her B.Scott interview (who is also interracial) and they discuss the difficulties of identifying with just one race despite the box society tries to put them in.
