Really? I think they sounded great together. Especially as a fan of more 80s and 90s singers, I was glad to hear her sing with a real vocalist again (especially a black man). John Legend is the last black man to get to #1 on the hot 100 without being a rapper. People don't want R&B from us anymore which is weird.

@@sjoo8 Yes unfortunately! I just can't stand his voice (sorry not sorry) sounds like he's croaking , I love me some R&B but his voice just doesn't cut it for me. Brian McKnight or even BabyFace would've sounded better on this song. Also it's not that people don't want R&B anymore it's just music tends to change throughout the years. I still listen to 80's, 90's and Early 2000's music, not so much of the music that's out now.

@@Bruddahlekii To each their own I suppose. I only dislike the style he goes for on the long "o" vowel in his lower range. Other than that, o think he rich baritone was a breath of fresh air for me after the the last decade or so of all the male singers having the same thinner higher voices.
