I hate that Zane and Mariah are so hard on themselves and call themselves stupid. The great thing about this podcast is how everyone has knowledge in different areas and can bring different opinions, ideas, etc to the table. Heath, you’ve given me so much hope. I recently gained about 40lbs (over the past like 2-3 months 😭) and I have never felt so awful about myself. It’s comforting to know that it’s totally realistic for me to lose all this weight in a relatively short period of time if I really put my mind to it. One of my favorite inspirational quotes is, “The best time to plant a tree was yesterday, but the second best time is today.” Get started today yall! We gotta stop saying we’ll do it tomorrow because tomorrow never comes! We only ever live in today, in the present, in the NOW. Today, we’re writing our future history. What do you want yours to look like? The choice is yours. Only WE have the power to change our lives, but if nothing changes, nothing changes. If we want something we’ve never had, we have to do something we’ve never done. Time is always marching on, regardless of what we’re doing, so we might as well make the most of it and get started today. Best of luck to everyone who is currently on or ready to begin a weight-loss or weight-gain journey. Sending y’all so much love, light, motivation, and healing energy 💜 Remember, it’s not a temporary diet, it’s a lifestyle change.

I am 110% following what Mariah is saying about picturing things, and my family also wanted me to do interior design when I was younger. But what people dont know is I cannot picture the finished product, I actually decorate as I go. I just but alike things that fit whatever taste and put it together. To go with that I also cannot remember actors/actresses, musicians, even the name of songs I know them as I hear or see them. Any kind of trivia is a no go for me, absolutely will not participate. So I feel your pain, but I also tell myself Im better at something else and its my story and Im sticking to it. Oh and with music I cannot telk you the meaning of any song, I know the lyrics (basically just the words from memorizing) but I always have followed the beat first and feel the music. Ibsing along blindly I guess you could say. I dont have a clue if its sad, happy, the dog dies, or even pure insanity Im singing along and banging the beat 100%. Love you guys!!!!! I deleted my social media apps off of my home screen, but still have them in the library. I told myself not to swipe over to the library, unless someone tells me to go look at something. I turned off my notifications and everything. It helped me so much. Now, I only spend a couple minutes on them maybe throughout the day. Just an idea if you want to cut down social media use lol

hopefully mariah will see this, for her back pain and sleep pain you should try a shikibuton. they are used in japan to sleep. it's just a futon you can put on the floor and it's soft but offers lots of back support and it's very helpful if you have any sort of bone or back pain, and they're easy to roll up and store away. much love.

Matt I hope you get out of that funk soon! Just know that you offer so much and bring so much to the show. It wouldn’t be the same without your quick wit and sarcasm. Everyone’s unique personality makes this podcast what it is and you all mesh perfectly. My personality is different from a lot of people I associate with and sometimes I get down and out thinking I need to be more “normal” and conform to them. But I try to get out of that mindset quickly because we all bring something different to the table.

mariah you have aphantasia!!! it's basically the inability to visualize images in your mind - not super common but more people have it than you'd think

This conversation about TikTok is so interesting. I completely agree. As a 26 year old I notice I don’t really like staying on a KZbin video as before. I think that’s why KZbin made it for us to be able to come out of the app and still watch the video IN MY OPINION. which is so bad, we’re adapting to it.
