I never knew she was a piano prodigy. This 100% explains her brilliance as a ballerina. As a violinist myself, I can say for sure that classical music informs movement in a way that simply cannot be explained. Folks are always telling me how poised and well-postured I am. In my heart, I know it is because of my violin, and what the instrument fostered in my soul.

I admire music. But god gives me only possibilities to listen and feel deep beauty of music. Thanks but i suffer not be able to play and sing. Music and classical ballet are holiday for myself. I agree 100% with you😀

Great documentary. Truly shows the essentials of ballerina's life and of course important issues of Maria Khoreva professional life. I understand that being soloist in the reputable ballet company is a great effort. But I didn't know that Maria herself customizes the pointe shoes (so many of them), herself edits the You Tube videos and spends so many time training or in ballet studio. She is a titan of work. I really admire Her.

Maria’s dancing is spellbinding. I watch her ballet videos over again and again. She transports me into another universe with every movement. Her grace and beauty far outweigh most of the world’s ballerinas. She also seems so kind and humble. Maria, if you are reading this, one of my top wishes is to see you dance and meet you. If you are ever in North Carolina, please reach out.

For someone so young, she already has that certain quality in her dancing. Her technique is clean but she brings the music and story and emotion in the clips I have watched and she is so darn charming too- she deserves to be fast tracked with her talent. IMHO anyway. I really hope she has a great career and more importantly, that she has a career that she loves. X

I'm glad I waited to learn ballet until now, I believe we're watching the best ever. In fact I wouldn't be as interested in ballet if it weren't for you Maria. That being said my interest is only like a 5 out of 10 currently, but that's up from about a -12 last year. Like the few of us who have a phenomenal ability to master tasks, your piano expertise is impressive.

I really enjoyed this video, Maria. From the first time I saw you dance (on KZbin admittedly), I knew that there was something very special about you, from your musicality to the extension of your legs, however it is always interesting and somehow grounding to hear about the work which goes into the refining of such natural talent. Many 'thank you’s to you for publishing this and I wish you all the very best for the future! 💗

Picture worth a thousand words, really nice documentary with English dub. What's i come away with are, Maria can play piano very well, she is a very hard worker, very competitive from her days in Rhythmic Gymnastics, her D.N.Y with her dancing shoes ,her love for different kind of music. However, what's I 🤔 really want to know is, with her beautiful speaking voice, what's her singing voice like ?😊❤💖

Perhaps the dancers I feel sorry for are those good enough to get a position within a ballet company, but then are never good enough to progress beyond the corps. While all the great romantic and classical ballets depend on the corps de ballet, it's never a good feeling that you're stuck!
