Totally agree with leaving people’s messages on read but not responding. It gives “I don’t have time for you” which is hurtful especially to people you consider dear to you. It’s different if you have not seen the message but it’s rude to just ignore someone’s text, busy or not. Even a short text saying “cannot talk now but will get back to you soon” is better than being ignored.

Joyce!!! And Mariam! Hands down another amazing episode! As baby Christian who’s now trying to be mindful of the type of content I consume on a daily basis, I’m so grateful that this was such a tasteful and vulnerable episode filled with so much laughter and great energy! And loving Mariam on this new journey of her life as she begins to get closer to the Lord, she just radiates with this amazing peaceful, loving aura as per usual but you can definitely see the transformation and it’s so beautiful to see🤍🤍

One thing Mariam has to understand, sex is not created solely for reproduction, it’s created for two people in union to thoroughly enjoy. However they like, as long as it’s between them two.

Exactly! However, I agree with her on the no Anal thing. As sodomy is mentioned in the bible as being a bad thing
@Feefs186 ай бұрын
Exactly. The other thing is the misunderstanding on anal/sodomy. A lot of Christian culture has mischaracterized the story of sodom & gomorrah.

This was such a surprisingly healing episode. Friendship break-ups aren’t discussed that much. You gals showed such beautiful vulnerability discussing your experiences and it’s so inspiring to see how you have elevated and have genuine sisterhood. Thank you for calling out toxicity women friendships, its powerful in changing what is considered acceptable.

on the topic of sex and God. I feel like christians forget that sex was God's idea! we're so tied up in performatively being morally upstanding. Your love and union has been blessed by God he has given and created the safe space for your guys to be intimate and manifest that love through the act of creation or sex if you like. God want's your pleasure, God wants your desires fulfilled and the freedom to do these things in God's love comes from sanctifying the relationship through Gods word. Standing before him and saying we are one. At that phase to me anything we do in our initmate moments is God centred! He is always there even when you laid on your back sisters! God doesn't know shame, humans do and I think that keeps us trapped in these ways of thinking. I promise you all God wants your pleasure, he just wants it in his glory! that is it.

From what I've learned about biblical sex, the guardrails is that its not something that defiles your spouse, that they don't want to do and is unnatural. Pastor Kingsley and Mildred have a channel that's about biblical sexuality and they answer questions there. God created sex and the pleasure that people have to bring children and to also help couples be more intimate so he definitely wants enjoyment in it (in marriage)
@alwayssmiling20108 ай бұрын
@maamesbooks I think that’s where the whole dignity of your spouse has to be taken into account, like if your sexual acts are defiling someone and about your partner being an object of some fantasy that’s demeaning, that’s a no.

@maamesbooksBDSM doesn’t come from God I honestly think it stems from trauma or porn which both of those things aren’t of love or goodness.

The strict parent's raising liars is too true. I have strict parents and boy the way you gotta lie to get your freedom isn't funny. It took friends calling me out to understand that i couldn't go into adulthood as a pathological liar. Thank god i was g checked early like in secondary school so, it was something i could begin unlearning. It's something i'm still working on till this day but, for the love of god strict parenting to the point where it's suffocating and restricting your kids needs to stop!
