Maria Raczynska It's ok there is no rush I am working on a graphite picture at the moment which is taking me right out of my comfort zone it's challenging but am using the grid method to draw from a photo. It's slowly coming along and am pleased and amazed that I can do this. There are a lot of hours left for me to do so I am watching your videos as a change. I will star the watercolour hopefully in about a weeks time when this current project is finished I won't allow myself to get distracted from it lol x

AWWWWW just what I wanted to see !!! Soo beautiful !!! 🥀🌷💐💖 Maria can you please show the process of how you put paper on the glass, spraying or wetting and all, most people are visual, I think everybody would appreciate to see that...if you can of course...hope I'm not asking/bugging too much...LOL...❣🤗👍🏻
@mariamorjane8 жыл бұрын
Hi Tatiana 😊I will be happy too! I will show it in one of my videos next week I hope. I have a lot of videos to edit that are sitting on my computer just need to figure out which one was it where I was showing the glass etc. But I don't do anything to it, I lay the paper flat on a glass and start painting, while I am painting the paper gets sucked to the glass from all the water and paint I have been using ;) It's a good idea to wet the paper first underneath tho 🤗🌸💐

@mariamorjane8 жыл бұрын
Nie przejmuj sie🤗🙏🏼za pierwszym razem nie wszystko zawsze wychodzi :)😅 trzeba sie przyzwyczaic do bialego gouache i hot pressed :)👍🏼 bialy gouache powinien byc raczej uzyty jako dodatek, do rozswietlania (dodawania swiatla) albo w galaxy painting jako droga mleczna, musisz troche poprobowac bo napewno trzeba sie nauczyc kontrolowac i wode i farby :) wiec nie poddawaj sie, praktyka czyni mistrza☺️💕
@gjartstudios99708 жыл бұрын
A czy jest jakas roznica pomiedzy kolorowym gouache i watercolour w tubkach? Wczoraj uzylam tych ostatnich. Z wierzchu wygladaja tak samo... 😯Teraz zamowilam watercolour w tubkach i zobaczymy, czy bedzie jakas roznica.
@mariamorjane8 жыл бұрын

Maria, bravo! What type of pencil do you use to do your sketh that it does not show on the final painting?
@mariamorjane8 жыл бұрын
Hi Lina, just the most simple pencil you can find :) When I do a sketch I don't draw lines hard, very soft, and if you do it first too hard, you may want to go over your sketch with an eraser- just to soften it up. With all the outlines I create with watercolors, you can never really see a pencil sketch. Thank you!

Hi! Your art is amazing. Do you stretch your watercolor paper before you paint ? It seems you do not but I am not sure if you paint straight on block or not. Again, stuninng and so detailed...
@mariamorjane7 жыл бұрын
thank you so much Alessio :)) so kind of you! no, I don't stretch my watercolor papers, I paint straight out of blocks/pads, sheets etc ;)
@a.m.96597 жыл бұрын
Maria Raczynska, thanks for fast reply! I paint from a Fabriano watercolour block but it deforms because of the water making valleys into the paper and makes me a problem while doing wahses. And paper curls up when I finish the painting. Does that mean it is low quality ?
@mariamorjane7 жыл бұрын
Hi Alessio, I have the same Fabriano watercolor block and I've had the same problem with this paper... it's like it can't handle the amount of water and paint... its strange but I know what you mean... so I don't paint on Fabriano anymore, it disappointed me too many times... I honestly don't think it's a good paper. I rather invest more in better high quality papers because you can do so much more. I mostly only paint on Arches papers. Arches never disappointed me. thank you.

I plan to paint this next time, but i have a question about mask fluid . if i put on mask fluid how long should i remove it, i read someone said need to remove it within 24 hours, otherwise it will be difficult to remove it. This will be issue because sometimes i need a few days of free time to paint. so i need to make sure i can manage it well, thanks.
@mariamorjane7 жыл бұрын
Hi Sarah :) When I put art masking fluid, I usually use a thicker layer, and that definitely helps to peel it off easier. Often I prep my pencil sketch the night before and apply the art masking fluid so it has that time to dry (because of it's thick layer) so its ready for me to start painting with watercolors in the morning.. I pretty much always finish my painting same day, within 1-2hrs so I've never left art masking fluid for more than 24hrs. You can always test it on a small piece of paper. I never had a problem. The only problem I had was when I didn't let art masking fluid dry all the way.. now that's a disaster lol

Thanks a lot. it is very useful. I will tried small pieces first.
