Okay, after finishing this conversation it’s pretty clear-there is absolutely no genuine hope. Delusional hope sure, but no true hope. Near the end it appears that Marianne is trying her best to keep from crying and outright resigning to the true powerlessness and hopelessness that most of us are experiencing. The suggestion is for (someone) to essentially become another Sisyphus, somehow manage to get into the DNC committee, and then PROPOSE rule changes … yeah right. He drove me a bit nuts. She keep trying to steer him towards solutions, and he kept highlighting the problem. Also using the term "people" in reverence to entities who can vote in a convention, isn't really specific enough for my taste. "Friends and family" (Marianne's words) made it clearer to me, what was going on.

Great ideas. What record does she have of implementing or passing any legislative accomplishments at the state or national level? Anyone can tell you all of their great ideas and what they would like/wish to do. What connections does she have at the local, state and national level to get these ideas thru? Who in the current GOP party is going to give this untested, never elected to any office at any level of government, state or federal, person the time of day? What chance does this new age, ACM, it's all about love, not a Christian person have with a bible thumping hard far far right speaker such as Mike Johnson or any of his carbon copies?
