Marianne Williamson is the perfect candidate for the DNC Chair. I have searched the other 7 candidates and I am convinced Ms. Williamson's background and transformational leadership experience is exactly what is needed to bring the DNC back to the People. You might have noticed that has not been the case for many years, particularly as evident this last year.

I’m happy to hear what Maryanne Williamson has to say about the Democratic Party. Suffice it to say they/we deserve everything we are getting. A lifelong Democrat here who was slowly getting disillusioned with the party for years. It wasn’t enough to say when they go low we go high. Nothing we did for the past four year was high, just not dealt with. The party deliberately kept us in the dark. Was that the high we were talking about? I’m happy to hear Williamson because i don’t have to wonder what was wrong with me for the past for years. If only they start analyzing their actions beginning with South Carolina the fated night forcing Kamala Harris for a vp , from then on everything went wrong. Everything. No matter how they tried to spin things from then on nothing worked because it wasn’t suppose to work. We do not choose a president just on a gender and race or pretty . We chose on the basis of competency . I don’t mean to be offensive just realistic. I hope we learned from our mistakes.

The Democratic Party broke my heart. First with Hillary, then with Biden and lastly with Harris. Biden and Harris were only puppets. That’s all they’re looking for is a puppet so therefore Marianne will not have a voice. Such a shame because she has such a beautiful message to share.

One of the BIGGEST issues with the democrats after the election was they were gone! After all the energy and excitement, then poof 💨 I was lost and I know so many others were lost too. Then the fact that Harris never showed up at her own election party. I’m sure it was a huge disappointment to lose, but c’mon! Finally, the next day she showed up with her concession speech, but then she was gone again, except one brief statement around Thanksgiving then gone again. I understand she’s the VP but still, no communication from her or any other democrats except the current representatives who say a little bit here and there but who seem like they’re just bowing to the republicans in a very impotent way. It would have been very helpful if Obama would have come out of hiding to support the people or anyone who campaigned with her, Cuban, someone! Where is Walz? Bernie has been speaking a lot and I appreciate this very much. But you know who did step up right away? Marianne Williamson! And she has been the greatest support to the Democratic Party since the loss of this election! Thank you Marianne! 🙏🏼❤🙏🏼 Thank you for this interview. I’ll share it. PS I heard Cuban may run for president in 2028.

@@cjn2714 i was actually embarrassed by Obama’s participation. It was like an afterthought. And even then he kept appearing more like a clown. It was too little too late. And while on Obama. Michelle seems to be competing with Melania Trump. Her once sensible clothing is turning into an influencer. Competing with the elites of Hollywood. Money does get into peoples heads. It’s too bad it makes you lose all sensibility.

I voted for Marianne in my primary and I would do it again. So far I still resonate w her message. Never appreciated how the DNC operates as I grew to understand and witness their moves over the years. Been politically involved since the age of 14. My mother took me to a Caucus before I could even vote, so I would learn and know what to do when I came of age. I was in 8th grade. Many years later when I was a voting adult, my feelings toward politicians really soured during Occupy and curdled when the DNC sabotaged Bernie. Aaaand here we are now, w the most corrupt, criminal, carrot faced tyrant about to take the reins. Yes, I agree there- it was definitely the consulting class, I fucking HATE the tone of Clibornish messages coming in my email; they have such a rude, guilt-boxing, and condescending tone and have been that way for YEARS. Their emails often come off as completely uninspired bull-shit. I refuse to donate to the DNC unless they have a serious rethink of leadership.

Williamson has never done anything for anyone but herself. She has never served on a town council, run for any office other than President, is not known for her community activism, and has absolutely no suitable credentials to run a country. If she had done any of the things I list, she would be eminently more qualified than she is today. Williamson is about Williamson. She has no intention of ever assuming high office, except by sheer luck. Her who schtick is about getting attention and notoriety for herself. It is too bad, because she does have some very good talking points. Too bad she's not taking any real steps towards making her ideas into practical options.

Her talent is immense; her strength, formidable; her candidacy, timely. If the DNC had any sense, it would embrace her. But their points about DNC corruption and its unwillingness to risk their corporate donors' ire means they won't. The DNC is despicable. I give her all respect with gratitude.

Marianne, I believe in you. I hope you are able to secure this position because you will be able to talk power to power and make the changes in the values and principles of the DNC that will help transform it into an entity to represent the people of the country not the desires of those within its ranks. For instance, without the complicity in the DNC, Bernie would have been the candidate in 2016. He would have won.

The problem all started on January 21, 2010, when the Supreme Court ruled that deceptive campaign speech is protected by the First Amendment. In a 5-4 vote, 5 Republicans favored protecting deception. So Marianne needs to push a new law that will make her famous: Honesty in Politics Act Section 1: Purpose The purpose of this Act is to promote transparency, accountability, and integrity in political discourse by prohibiting politicians and political candidates from knowingly making false statements to the public. Section 2: Definitions Politician: Any individual currently holding an elected public office. Political Candidate: Any individual running for an elected public office. Knowingly: With actual knowledge, or with reckless disregard for the truth or falsity of the statement. Section 3: Prohibition No politician or political candidate shall knowingly make false statements to the public. False statements include, but are not limited to, statements about: a. Policy positions b. Legislative actions c. Personal conduct d. Financial matters Section 4: Enforcement The establishment of an independent commission to investigate allegations of false statements. The commission shall have the authority to: a. Subpoena witnesses and documents b. Hold hearings c. Issue findings and recommendations Section 5: Penalties Politicians or political candidates found in violation of this Act shall be subject to: a. Public censure b. Fines c. Disqualification from holding or running for public office for a specified period Section 6: Implementation This Act shall take effect immediately upon its passage. The independent commission shall be established within 90 days of the Act’s passage.

We missed the lesson at the end of the Cold War, that you cannot choose between "left" (cooperation, socialism) and "right" (competition, capitalism). Humans cooperate and compete all the time, at the same time, but not consciously. Politics (community, civilization) has always been the challenge to balance competition and cooperation thoughtfully and with purpose. Then we will have common ground and can solve the problems of living together. America practices socialism, but mostly to benefit the wealthy. Now that the rich and poor are so far apart, we can be divided and destroyed from the inside by fascism. Most of us are fighting over the crumbs, unable to afford to raise and educate children. The wealthy are miserable, too, as they never truly feel they have enough and never know who loves them rather than their money.
@brushstroke3733Күн бұрын

1st you allowed it to happen by electing Rockin Ronnie Reagan. 2nd community is not in competition with capitalism, it's the platform that allows it to survive. Once capitalism outgrow s it's community it will dominate and consume it or expand outside to a new community.
