I’m not convinced either of these individuals understand socialism. They are both eager to appropriate socialist ethics, but they push the agency of socialist folks into obscurity. Really, I guess, it shouldn’t be all that surprising. Williamson’s language smacks of elitist, anti-democratic bullshit. Change is coming, thinks Williamson, but this change is “either going to happen because of dysfunctional, either pathological revolt or out of wisdom.” From whom, you might wonder, comes this wisdom? Well, not from working class people, who are “vulnerable to ideological capture by genuinely psychotic forces.” No, by God, wisdom trickles down from the elite: “those who have the money, who are leading in the capitalist world, should be the ones designing the transition.” Be grateful to your billionaire overlords, for the alternative is dysfunctional and pathological.

Brilliant interview!!! Thank you both for making an effort to bring consciousness back to politics and politics back to the "spiritual" community. To many "spiritual leaders" are avoiding "politics" rather than standard for thier authentic values and beliefs for financial reasons. The prevailing logic on law of attraction has proliferated this paradigm. Politics often does not leave you feeling good thereby negatively impacting ones vibrational state. Therefore it seems many are avoiding the topic to live in a protective bubble. Leading to the cancer within consciousness that Marianne described. When one experiences true spiritual growth, that growth is achieved through the connection to soul, spirit, universe and infinite consciousness. That connection transcends politics via understanding of truth. Mariane is telling these wonderful things to the people in her country and the world from more than 20 years, but people kept being blind and deaf. Wake up world!! We all should put the work in understanding the ethics of being humans, having knowledge and apply the rules of cooperation and not of the competition ones at the core of all we do. Well said Marianne..."the fiduciary responsibility of the corporation to stockholders overrides ethic or moral responsibility to workers, communities and environment..." Large corporations certainly know how to appease the hearts and minds of millennials and Gen Z or any age group for that matter. Isn't it alarming, that large corporations might merely put the face of someone with a moral compass to their brand and suddenly people buy in to a product with no questions about the integrity or moral compass of that company?

Morning Everyone, This interview was a delight to listen to and watch. Kudos to Vishen for making it possible. Marianne sounds like a welcome change. I have a few reservations. The first is, of course, it's POLITICS FIRST!! How many candidates have said and made promises while running for office; only to become politicians after being elections. There are a few comments that were "negative" in nature. Understandably, there is a Negative choice available among people (acknowledged) but to make it a focus only makes it an Offering and attraction.(Look at ANY news report). I look forward to hearing more about what her Inner Views are and how they would impact the country, if elected.

I'm Canadian. I wish I could contribute to Marianne's campaign. I wish I could vote. At first I thought, oh...thank God she's getting a out a new message. At least people will start thinking in a different way, maybe getting some fire in their bellies, she very likely won't win but she'll sure wake up a lot of people.
