I have known about her candidacy since she announced. I never looked at her as a serious candidate, and did not bother to take the time to look into what her motivation was. But then tonight I saw that she was being included in the debates. I got the wake up call that even though I was not taking her seriously, someone out there was. So I looked into it... And after listening to her here, she is now my #1 choice.

With fresh tears I had to stop five minutes in because everything was so purely, compassionately, truthfully stated up until the classic hollering and cheering essential to any competition. Politics and voting are diseased by an underlying malignant consciousness fueled by frustration. I feel this as a distortion because it comes from an “angry generation can’t create peace” mentality. Team Love is an oxymoronic state though because true Love has no sides, no poles, only unity and natural harmony not needing to vote or label. I was sent this by a friend. Initially, as I watched, I was feeling a bit skeptical. However, by the end I was quite impressed. She said that among the "transformational" crowd, only around roughly 75% vote. I'm one of those though in the past I worked on a presidential campaign and loved every minute of it. Now I pay little attention to politics. It will be quite interesting to see her candidacy evolve.

I have read and listened to you for so many years, and I absolutely agree with all that you say. I am concerned about going from the realm of mindful and spiritual engagement to the theater of environmental, economic and social crisis upon a world stage. It has been my observation that the characters that play in that theater can manipulate and crush even the most devout, and while I wholly support a better and more evolved society, I pray and support that you are up to the task at hand. I have been made to feel powerless, anemic and immobilized from the fear left in the wake of our current political climate. Obviously I need to rise above that and take my stand. Clearly this isn't the first rodeo in which America has been bucked off the bull and we must once again get back on and ride him home. David Hawkins PhD said the level of consciousness of this country jumped five points in and around 1985 and in its wake all those who couldn't rise above 200 (courage) on his kinesiological scale would fall below and be revealed in a world in which they could no longer exist transparently. I don't believe any of us were prepared for what has taken place in our society, in our world, even our homes since that time. He referred to the downfall of massive corporate entities and the disintegration of social values and justice. Just tune into the 5 O'clock news for the what's new in that one, or turn to look at people you know and love failing to thrive. The task at hand will require a ground up reconstruction of values, education, laws and thinking. Is four years (hopefully more) enough to rework the ruins left behind from past administrations? Can we find enough people in all the right places to support you in local and state agencies, not to mention congress? We must correct laws, economics, broken spirits and engage critical thinking beginning at the elementary level so people won't simply follow what they hear (fake news or TWITTER) but analyze their place within the machine that was America, and the world. I support you Marianne, and I will work to spread your message of hope and (r)evolution to become the best we can be. Thank you for this.

The people she's trying to help don't think this way and the people she wants to help them don't realize that. Minority communities are in survival mode. They don't go home and discuss this type of thing, at least not in large numbers. If the people tasked with developing the qualities in education aren't in tune with this message than nothing changes at the earliest level, as suggested. If the home they go to doesn't ascribe to or know of these concepts than nothing changes. It's in one ear and out the other. This is a societal transformation that she is proposing. Sounds great. Works great. But how is this mandated and reinforced in a free society? We would have to incorporate mindfulness in schools and teach or require people to take courses as well. Good luck with that. Pockets can do this, but humanity as a whole has a way of sabotaging itself when it comes to progressing.

@@williamgray3191 You are correct on all points, Mr. Gray. However, as the saying goes, "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." All change must begin with you and then radiates outward. Yes, it is overwhelming, but never let those numbers be the wave of force that renders you hopeless. It is no accident that human generations change every 20 years. This allows the space in time to redirect thinking and allows for organic growth in our world societies. This is why you are spot on about instilling curricula that focuses on critical thinking, on compassion, on teaching our youth how to be the best they can be regardless of unfavorable social and political environments and empower them in spite of such opposition. Your strength, determination and passion will always rise above the ebb and flow of those less informed: your job/my job/ our job is to inform whenever/however possible. Reading, writing and arithmetic are all necessary, but so is being human, being a good human. I say start when education starts and teach children about all aspects of being human and offer opportunities to recognize the problems and come up with the solutions. This means, if Daddy is beating Mommy, how does that feel, what can a little child do to protect themself and even Mommy? They need to know they are not the only child with this problem and be able to have an intelligent conversation about it that helps to replace fear and guilt/shame with action and understanding. A child's awareness of their surroundings is at home first and foremost and it extends into their community (church, school, town, state, nation) from there. Before they get to the age where they self-destruct (later leading to destroying others as a way of regaining their own sense of control) they should have an awareness and be empowered to say "no" to those things they know are wrong for all the right reasons. Creating awareness creates potential and opportunity. We do not all migrate to change at the same speed, nor the same time. However, if one hears or sees the message enough they will have to consider it. It first begins with a thought and with time and repetition manifests into action and/or material. Stay focused on the prize and how you feel doing so. The rest will take care of itself. Of this I am confident.

For compared to our original infinitely great divine joy experiencing being but a human is the crucifixion. I don't know what you mean by 'not telling the truth about many issues'. I've heard several of her campaign speeches and some town halls and she's specific than this 30 min. Nobody here asked here a specific question to answer and I find nothing she says untrue. You can read her policies on her website. It is my view that the Democratic party will not allow a woman to be the nominee because they want/need to defeat Trump. However, I would like to see her on the debate stage to change the conversation. I have known about Marianne for over 10 years and find her to be inspiring every time I hear her speak. She touches something inside that helps me believe there is a path to a better world unlike some of the other candidates who are just 'same ole same ole' politics.

Love you Marianne, but gluten free really helped me start to heal, or at least stabilize from a very debilitating illness. Even people from very poor neighborhoods, and not alot of money, or education, and different ethnicities experiment with food for healing. We also have to do better in the health, and mental health care system. Otherwise they stuff you with pills and more pills. I understand the point you are trying to get across. I use to believe in spiritual power but then ran into Peter Joseph and Jacque Fresco and learned about structuralism, it makes spiritual ideas obsolete. Though I applaud Marianne for introducing compassion into politics...however: If this new age of spiritual thought were all-encompassing, it would work in every situation. I offer one example where all the meditation and love in the world, would not heal the situation. There are plenty of examples when looking through the lens of structuralism. The Banker Example: How does a banker apply compassion when the rules force him to foreclosure on a home which may lead a family to live on the streets? This is a structural problem with built-in cruelty backed by law. Sure, the banker could read a spiritual book and move to a higher calling, and then quit his job. But current education will refill the banker’s position. Another structural problem that maintains the built-in cruelty. Meaning, the way we educate causes social conflict. Spiritualists refuse to address the structural problems backed by economic laws which are harmful to humans and our nature. This is a major problem of the spiritual movement. They constantly want to blame human consciousness much like religion’s use of sin. The language is merely kinder as if one is out of alignment, one’s awareness is low and must increase, one must center and learn to find the source, or one will struggle and not reach one’s full potential. One must awaken as the judgment. For the majority of humans, there isn’t a full potential when Monday thru Friday we are controlled by a corporation or government that requires us to act in a non-compassionate manner. I would hate to be an insurance healthcare rep on the phone telling a person: “No, we do not cover that procedure.” What does that teach the service rep who tells another human that daily? How to be heartless as a norm? Humans suffer from the way civilization is designed. We are experiencing severe structural problems in how civilization is constructed around money. We live insane laws that protect money over people. A spiritual thought is useless against these laws and purely act as a placebo to make us feel good. If we want a fair, just, and peaceful world, we must embrace the concept of Structuralism and change the systems we live. Otherwise, spirituality is no more than a feel-good-wish for change that never happens because no action is applied to the concept of money. Ultimately, our only problem. Biologically, we are completely trainable. But unfortunately, we are trained to be corporate monkeys no matter what status one holds in life. So, education must change. The philosophies of a Resource Based Economy must replace the philosophies of capitalism and dismantle the concept of money, and those lessons are not part of the Ivy League system that refills this insane structure we all endure. Unmistakably, education is a major problem. Not some made up delusion that we lack compassion when the energy is inherent in human nature and only needs to be released. The systems we live and share, prevent the full emergence of human compassion, and all of it backed by devious educations that hold the structural violence of capitalism in place. So how advanced is spiritual thought? Not very advanced at all. We live structuralism, and unless the structures are changed, nothing will change. Here's the beautiful part, we never have to judge a person in structuralism because the structure influences their consciousness. So no human is ever at fault. But it is perfectly OK to judge the structure and change it. So how advanced is spiritual thought? Not very advanced at all.

@@MS-sr6mj Yes, she is trying to change the systems but unwilling to dismantle capitalism because she believes in money and property rights. Capitalism must go, the selling of Earth for profit is killing the planet. An RBE is a much better system for humans and Earth, where Earth is owned by everyone and money does not exist. The idea of wealth disappears too. Marianne cannot get there due to the amount of money she has.

Great thoughtful comment. Marianne has heard the call to try and bring a solution. I agree that it’s no small task and perhaps may strike some as overly simple, but love is simple- though revolutionary. The challenge that we both see is how the love ethic “rubber” will “meet the road” to change dysfunctional structures, like the ones you outlined. Also, I have heard Marianne speak upon changing structures and not vilifying any particular person when asked about Trump. I believe her response was “it’s about changing systems.” If I find the video I will post a reply. I’m curious to see where this goes, and I for one am contributing financially as well as spreading the word.

I don't believe you HEARD her message. It appears you are discriminating against her because she 'may' be wealthy (who determines that dollar amount, anyway)? I hear her pleas for the underprivileged. I've served with her on the front lines to create a Dept. of Peace back in 2003. People who work hard and earn a good deal of money are STILL people, unless they choose to disassociate which, she has not. Your personal perspective on her is awry, it seems to me. I have never heard her speak of being pro capitalism. Please show me reference(s) where she has.

The harvesting of Earth for profits will eventually destroy the planet, which means we will destroy the planet over the concept of money. Money is just a concept. And the more you have, the harder it is to give up the concept. Money is a massive human delusion and unnecessary with today's technology. A Resource Based Economy solves almost every problem we have. Right now, the majority of human labor serves the billionaire class. In a RBE, all of human labor serves humanity. That is the age of enlightenment.

Why should Americans pay to help the rest of the world? Tell their leaders. We've tried this and the money is wasted, lost, or stolen. Governments aren't the best avenue for this type of solution. Welfare is reparations. She's a blamer, but never talks personal responsibility. She comes at this from a European, white, privileged perspective. She doesn't realize many don't think like her, even if it makes sense in her mind. She fails to realize that we're on different paths, with different wants, needs, and desires. She only interacts with those that think like her and has probably never been exposed to anything else. If she has been it was superficial and seeing it from her perspective. I doubt she has truly been involved in inner city neighborhoods for an extended period of time and seen the true nature of the issue and realized an effective solution. She has no chance of winning. She should know, people don't actually want to be healed and live a better way because if they did they would actually take advice from this community, and most don't, as we that live this way know. They will willingly harm themselves and acknowledge it, but make no change. People are dumb.
