Fondant Vespa Scooter tutorial ( With weights ) | How to make a Motorcycle from fondant

This is actually my first ever topper with weights and I'm gonna say it wasn't as easy as it seems. Probably because all my life I've been eye balling every part or size as I went along 😆
Anyway I hope all the weight measurements help.
- I used a mix of 50/50 gum paste and sugar paste.
- For the main colour I used sugar flair egg blue and a hint of mint green.
- The base/body is measured 10 cms x 3 cms
- The wire was added for extra support as I was going to add flowers on to the seat
- Everything is stuck with edible glue
- Both the tyres were made of the same size but you'll notice the front wheel already glued on before I showed you how this because I wasn't too happy with the green cover that goes on top of the front wheel. I thought it was too small for the scooter so I re-did that bit again with the correct weight in the end. One of the reasons I don't do weights 🙄
- Because it's spring I thought I'd add a few flowers the colours I used for them are pink, peach and ivory. Moss green for the leaves.
- Lastly to make the stands on either side I used piece of wire x2 covered in black fondant.

It's sugar paste also known as fondant. Usually used for molding cake decorations
