When I started watching this show a year ago I was confused as to why Clint was so hesitant to take Kate under his wing. He usually loves mentoring kids who need his help. But I realized: he’d just lost his best friend and it’s hard for him to open up to a new “partner” and it’s lovely to see him accept and open up to her as the show goes along (because this man collects kids like infinity stones)

LOL I love the out of context discussion between them. "I wouldn't really describe us as friends" - and yet they become friends and found family lol. I like the edit where he says "What do you think" and then the switch to the next scene where Kate starts off with "What do you think of Lady Hawk". Great transition! Cool ending. Great video! I hope the rumors of a season 2 are true cause imo this is the best MCU show. Grounded, great fight scenes, King Pin's return, and most importantly Clint and Kate's relationship is so good. Refreshing to have a project with an Avenger and their replacement and it actually be training and them getting along instead of the Avenger looking like an idiot and the newbie being amazing immediately.

As a big Hawkeye (which, btw is something most people laugh at me for, or think I’m nuts.) I was really excited when I heard he was getting his own show. And then you can imagine my disappointment, when I saw the first trailer, and just knew it wouldn’t be his show. It was gonna be kate's show. And I was right. 🙄😑 Besides, that whole finale was just one big middle finger to the guy. He was a goddamn SHIELD agent and an Avenger. He does not get stuck on a tree.

@@MariaTheMarvelVideoEditor Well, it kinda is but it's also not like one day they got an idea to introduce a cool new character so they decided to make a show for her. The actual reason they made this show at all was the same reason they made that Black Widow movie after her death. Both Johansson and Renner had in their contracts one solo movie but since they weren't huge box office draws, their movies were put away to be made later. Then they decided to change Renner's movie into a show (allegedly because they needed more time to tell the story but we all know it's because the movie would be a box office flop. They probably had a bit more faith in Black Widow but it's possible they wanted to do a show about her as well but Scarlett would never agree). They also realized both Black Widow and Hawkeye projects are kinda pointless after Endgame so they figured they could use them to introduce new characters to create more hype. And they did. But while BW pretty much remained Johansson's movie, they decided to change Renner's show into Kate's show, which was a shitty move towards the "original" actor, tbh. I mean, I could understand it if it was about viewership, as I initially believed. They thought Kate would be more popular so they figured they'd make it all about her to attract more viewers. I get it, they have to make money. But then they announced... an Echo show? A show that maybe ten people are actually excited about? So no, looks like it's not about money.
