I just opened a full size Marie Callender's coconut cream pie and yes it is loaded with coconut and it's delicious and it also has a regular crust not a graham crackers crust like in the single serve pie with the graham cracker crust! Absolutely delicious!

My brother and I just ate an Edwards Triple Coconut Creme Pie,, last week we tried the Marie Callender's Coconut Creme Pie, and to be honest your review has us a bit confused. For us everything you said about Marie's pie here is how we feel about the Edwards pie. Edwards pie has a much more coconut flavor, with a graham cracker crust. Marie's for us didn't have much of a taste at all of coconut, and the crust was like a cheaply made crust, and not a graham cracker crust. Now, I realize this review was done close to five years ago, so maybe Marie Callender's has changed from the way they used to make it. Have you guys tried going back and comparing again? We enjoy your reviews, look forward to them. Keep up the good work!

@Blythe Girl Some of the pies you don't even have to bake, just sit out for a few hours to let thaw. The ones you do bake is not hard at all. Just follow instructions on back of the box and enjoy 😃

After watching Charles Stanley at my Grandma's house on Sunday she would send me out to get a bucket of KFC traders gravy & slaw then to Marie Calanders restaurant for a coconut cream pie & their pies were made fresh never frozen. Grandma like their butterscotch pies too but they were all good.👍👍👍👍

i love pie!!! edwards doesn't compare to Marie, Edward's doesn't have "REAL COCONUT ". The cream seems oily. The texture is off. Marie HANDS DOWN🙌

I just went and got the Marie Callender's and it is sooo good! I got the mini pies at Walmart and they were $1.97. I also got the banana crème pie but I haven't tried it yet. Have you tried that one?

I usually love Edwards pies but I have never had their coconut pie and besides, my local Walmart doesn't carry it anyway. Now the Marie Callender coconut pie on the other hand is absolutely delicious with its creamy filling, lots of shredded coconut and a flaky pastry crust. The full size pie costs $5.97 whenever I have one delivered from my local Walmart along with the rest of my other groceries (Walmart+ membership) but I haven't had a taste for one since the summertime. Nowadays while it's winter up here in New Jersey I am more inclined to buy the Marie Callender bake and serve pies like Dutch Apple and also the Strawberry Rhubarb Streusel which are both real good. Right at this very moment though there is an Edwards pecan pie sitting on my kitchen table covered in foil that I somehow managed to eat half of right after it had thawed out so there you go, folks. Obviously pie is one of my 4 basic food groups🤣and by the way, great video...

I didn't know that Marie Callender's a day restaurant I had no idea but you know what my husband loves coconut cream pie my mother made the best but we have big boys here in Michigan and they make a very very good banana cream pie and coconut cream pie if you can get it and usually sold out they run about $6 for a whole pie

HI, I know this vid is old. My gosh, I bought an Edwards last night at Meijer in my town. What an awful pie. Coconut cream interior had an off flavor..... I would never ever ever buy this pie again. Cream topping part was good as was crust. Oh man, than interior was way off. Medicinal flavor. 4 people I gave it to agreed also. Thx for vid

You should have added a Claim Jumper Coconut Cream pie. Beats the two you tried hands down. If you decide to try a Banana Cream pie, keep CJ brand in mind. For those that prefer a fresh version of the pie, Claim Jumper has a chain of restaurants just like Marie Callendar's. If you get a chance, go and order their 6 layer Chocolate Motherlode Fudge Cake. Guaranteed to put you into a chocolate coma.

Both of these pies are far inferior to Claim Jumper's however they may have stopped making the CJ's? And you can't compare the weight of pies when most of the Edwards is whipped cream, (which would not freeze) I actually like to taste real filling. However I do agree Edwards" sucks.
