Does Marie say “he [Stephen Craig] played for the 49ers?” I’m sure I heard that right. But my recollection is that he played college basketball for BYU in the late 1970’s, and after that was not an athlete. I looked up his “bio” on google and it indicates that he has made his living as a production designer and motivational speaker. Weird for Marie to claim he was a pro-footballer with the 49ers. Did she think she married Steve Young rather than Steve Craig?

That surprised me too. I think she felt cornered and was embarrassed to say what he may actually be doing. not sure. What you mentioned doesn't sound so bad though, so, not sure why she felt to elaborate on what he's done.

I agree, MsEmmaHale. Steve Craig DID play BYU Basketball; I remember Marie said that she was at one of his games and noticed how cute his legs were.

Marie seems very nervous and I think she miss spoke about Steve being on the 49ers. She always gets nervous when someone asks her what Steve does.

He is RETIRED? From what? More like he's just continuing his job as Mr. Marie Osmond. I don't care how she tells it, there is no way that woman respects him. The man ALLOWED another man to adopt his son - his only son, the one he shared with Marie. Hubby #2 adopted the boy. Marie wanted it that way. Now she's remarried hubby #1 and says that Craig is "Dad" to all of her kids. Cause that is what Marie wants. I recently heard her say (for the 100th time) that she is the breadwinner in the family. Marie. You don't learn. You jump into marriage too quickly. Instead of joking about being irreplaceable, why didn't you ask yourself WHY your first husband never remarried? You are a nice lady and you have had a lot of heartache. For your sake (and those kids') I truly hope it works out for you.

She said he played for the 49ers so I would imagine that's a little more than minimum wage and something that you would have to retire from at a certain age? She was quite young when she divorced and after only 4 years of marriage, maybe she always regretted that? Bottom line - no one knows what really goes on behind closed doors.

Marie gives me the overall impression that she is confused. She's not able to make an important decision and then to be able to stick to it, or fix it, or adjust to it. And her choices for a husband were not great. But that's what she supposedly loves, that type of choice, that type of man. Anyway, that seems to be her life, with choosing a man, and with her different careers and jobs, like she jumps around to what ever is there, what ever is presented to her. Anyway, good luck to her.
