I'm grateful for good sleep I'm grateful for the opportunity to put a bad day behind me and have a cool dream. I'm grateful for the boost I get the next day after a good sleep. I'm grateful for how energized I feel in the morning after a good sleep, and how I want to put my best foot forward. I haven't gotten a good amount sleep in a while, except this weekend when my power went out and I've never seen such an amazing difference in how I feel especially my ability to put a not so good night behind me and still feel excited to get back at it the next morning! Thank you so much Marie!

Marie I did a gratitude meditation this morning so this is not a coincidence. Since this is your channel I wanna pay tribute to you 1. I'm grateful for marie because she mixes her humor with kick ass wisdom and it's refreshing and a relief to see an adult woman be this funny and totally herself 2. I'm grateful for marie because every tuesday you post a video that feeds my mind and soul with information that improves my life in so many ways 3. I'm grateful for marie because you show me that successful women can be very feminine and I love that you mention josh so much. A lot of business women become so masculine and independant that they never mention their partner because usually there is no one 4. I'm grateful for marie tv because your videos are 90% of the time an answer to my request to the universe 5. I'm grateful for marie because you truly embody that sharing is caring and that by helping others you better your life also Keep up the good work and hope you're light will shine unto the lives of many more happy souls :-)

my mommy 1. she's my only living parent. 2. she's hilarious and doesn't realize it. she never fails to make me laugh 3. she's strong and inspiring. 4. she has done a phenomenal job of raising me to be a respectable young lady with healthy self esteem. 5. she cooks for me, does my hair, gives me money, etc. without holding a grudge or keeping score (I also help her out as well) 6. I know she genuinely loves me with all her heart and I love her too.

I love how sentimental you are about Josh . . . Every night my husband tells me "you're my treasure" and while I love hearing this it sounds rote after a while. I'm going to ask him to tell me specifics tonight. Every night for a month I told my husband 10 things about him that I was grateful for. He loved it and it felt so good to know that all of the things I feel about him didn't just stay in my head! I unintentionally stopped doing this but will re-start tonight. Thank you for always bringing us great content in a down-to-earth but often humorous manner. I'm so grateful to have found you and this community!

They show me a new insight on something I'm doing in my life that isn't working. 3. They remind me to engage in life and not just write things down. 4. They remind me that the world really does need the special thing that only I have. 5. They have Marie in all of them and she is a wonderful role model for a woman that want to get more out of life and do it on their own terms. Marie, thank you for being so awesome and sharing it with the world!!! xoxo Cathy

My NY resolution for 2014 was to practice having gratitude but I keep forgetting so here goes - I am grateful that I am able to make KZbin videos for a living. I love being able to share my passion for health & fitness to inspire others to make changes to their lifestyle. I'm lucky to have a job that I truly love. I'm fortunate to have the support system that I do including my audience, friends and family - without I wouldn't be able to do this. I'm grateful that this job has allowed me to meet so many amazing people and build friendships with extraordinary people like ***** and I'm thankful that I have a job that allows me to sleep past 7 am :) I love sleep.

Thank you for this video - what a powerful message! I am grateful for my Mom. We call her G'ma. (My 8 year old son helped me write this). 1) She is one of the most generous people I know. She is such a model when it comes to sharing with others. 2) She is so helpful and supportive. She will drop anything at the spur of a moment when someone needs help. 3) She is unconditionally loving. No matter how grumpy or despondent I am she offers nothing but love and support. 4) She always makes me feel good about myself - she truly brings out the best in me - reminding me of my strengths. She's helped me to be the secure, confident, strong woman that I am. 5) She is always happy to see me. I always love to be with her because she is so joyful, loving, compassionate and positive.

This was wonderful. Thanks for your perspective Marie. I've had a year of setbacks and the one person that has gotten me through it is my little sister. I am very grateful for her! I am grateful that: 1. She let me stay with her after a bad break up and I had nowhere to go and no money to get my own place right away 2. She cooks for us the most delicious and healthy meals 3. She recommended to her boss that I was available for work and they brought me on this summer for contract work 4. She always appreciates my company 5. She always helps me in honoring our mom's spirit in heaven I love the recommendation in being more specific with your gratitude versus listing them. Digging deep with them and going beyond the surface does help us cut to our true "whys" and that is when I believe true transformation begins to take shape.

I'm grateful for my ability to rise above any hardship that's in my life. My family is there as a base but the core of it goes deeper. No matter how much doubt, pain, hurt, confusion and loss I feel- there's something in me that just keeps going and going. There's this light, belief in me that keeps me going living. Even when I doubt myself 100%, even if this light looks dim, there's another 1% there to keep me going, it's not even hope, it's curiousity, it's knowing that that pain, suffering and habitual crap isn't life. How detailed is that yo?

Happy Thanksgiving Week, everyone! I wanted to show how grateful I am with all of you here. I'm grateful for this moment in my life because: 1. I'm still alive, even when I once saw no point in living anymore. 2. Getting over the pain of lost, the sting of disappointment, the power of shame, and the touch of bitterness has helped to strengthen my heart and has given me the courage to keep going no matter what. 3. In losing what I thought I had, wanted, or needed, I kept gaining the things that were more important: pieces of myself. I've learned to trust my gut and believe that all things are working together to restore those things that were lost and broken--both in me and around me. 4. It taught me the importance of forgiving others, especially family members. I do it because: a) it sets me free from holding myself and them onto the hurtful memories and b) everyone has done and is doing the best with which they have been brought up. It may not necessarily make everything AOK, but I have more of an open mind now to release the hurt. 5. It lets me know that I am yet blessed and that I continue to expect my goals, visions and dreams to come true. I believe that each and every day up to now and moments afterward will make a great story out of my life.

That was so nice. I've nailed this detailed gratitude thing without realizing it a couple of years ago when I created a blog with all the reasons I love my boyfriend for. I think I should do this for each of my projects as well, not a blog, but detailing why I am grateful for each of them. For example I am grateful for working in the field of education because: 1. I can fight one of the biggest problem of the word: ignorance 2. I can help people know more - have more options - earn more etc. 3. I am constantly learning more myself 4. I receive appreciation from my students 5. And I can change the lives of many people from around the world.

Through your instruction I now realize the power of deliberate gratitude journal. Your short video really made me think about all my wife does--TRUTH be told, I never really thought about her in that sense before. Certainly I love her, we play and laugh together--often. We have comparable goals and strive for the betterment of each other and our family...no issues there. However, writing the 5 sentences put me at a better level of 'conscious' understanding of how she selflessly contributes to my well being. In a way it put me in touch with my subconscious. Thank you for sharing. I'll keep it up!

Beautiful episode, Marie. Love that you're courageous enough to be truly raw and vulnerable on the camera. You're awesome :-} I'm grateful for being born and raised in the greater NYC area 1) People sacrifice everything they have and come from thousands of miles away to have the opportunity to work and live here...I'm only an hour commute away 2) Let's be real here. The diversity of food! Not in the mood for Moroccan? Don't worry, there's a killer raw vegan juice bar the next block over. 3) The energy is contagious!!! 4) The many colorful characters you'll come across on the subway, often times leaving you smiling, chuckling and shaking your head saying, "Only in NY" 5) The wealth of opportunity and network of incredible people all concentrated onto 1 island and the boroughs

I am grateful for the way he makes me laugh and smile. 5. I am grateful for his quirkiness that helps me to get over the big stuff and laugh at silly things and enjoy just hanging out with him.

I'm grateful for this video and here's why. 1) A message about gratitude was really what I needed to hear this morning, because lately, the only thing I've been able to think about was what's been going wrong in my life. 2) I'm grateful for the fact that you recommended that book, because "gratitude works" was a mantra I recently came up with for myself, and the fact that I had never heard of that book before this video was like, cosmic confirmation for me. 3) I personally thought the setting in which you filmed the video was gorgeous. I specifically really like the lighting for some reason. 4) I honestly think you have a really nice voice and I sincerely enjoyed listening to you speak (: 5) The part of the video where you talked about your husband reminded me how much joy simply thinking about an important person in your life can bring. That's something I'm going to make a deliberate effort to do more often. Thank you for such a wonderful video!

Great vid Marie! She's absolutely right- gratitude is soooo powerful if done correctly! I recently started a daily morning meditation where I remember 5-10 things I am grateful for everyday and then feel into the gratitude and when I put the emotion in I REALLY feel grateful. I think the detailed gratitude journaling idea that Marie mentions follows the same idea since detailing will help bring about emotion and help you feel those happy thankful feelings! By the way the meditation is called Omvana 6 phase meditation and theres a video here on youtube if anyone is interested.

I'm grateful to my family because: 1) I have several pioneers who were successful in business and in life/marriage, thus being mentors in a way that reveal that I can do the same. 2) My great-grands and grandparents were amazingly humble and remarkable gentle giants who accomplished much with grace and confidence, revealing that character is an amazing form of currency. 3) My Mom and Dad did they best they could, and my Mom's hard work-ethic to this day amazes and inspires me to do more for her 4) My Mom's giving spirit is remarkable 5) My siblings are unique and loving -- even if I have to find the special opening to experience it. Thanks, Marie!

I am grateful that my parents constantly encouraged me to meditate and live consciously, creating my own reality and respecting myself rather than to be under a trance or influences by subliminal idea which may be for or against me.

wow! I'm just seeing this video now...very wow :)...ok, since we have to choose one thing, I'm gonna pic opera singing 1) I'm greatful that it can be really loud and really soft 2)I'm greatful that there are loads of inspired composers in the past centuries and today that have been able to transmit so many experiences and emotions through their music 3) I'm greatful for the community and support that exists between opera singers 4) I'm greatful that opera singing can be heard around the world and is sung by people with diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, life experiences and that opera can bring people together to perform such a powerful art form 5) I'm greatful that the Florentine Camerata came up with idea of an art form that combines music, poetry, theatre, singing, dancing, and today's modern technological advancements

It's true. I started to notice a big difference a few years back when I would be grateful for being able to walk or having traffic lights. Small things like those really change your perception of life. Sometimes I find myself being grateful for the most random things, but it feels good to have those things.

Thank you Marie for reminding us of good old habits that unknowingly we've forgotten somewhere along the way. Reading the book Something you forgot along the way, too, I could see how it's better to develop our character than to be focused on gaining something now. I'm grateful to you.
