What I have heard are cocentrates with over 0.2% thc not allowed, that just shows that they absolutely no clue about the medical benefits of high concentrated decarboxilated cannabis oils. That's stuff even cures a lot of cancers in a very effective way without harming the healthy cells. I know so much about it but that comment would get way too long but I would love to be a part of that movement in Thailand and come and teach them about the real medical stuff that is still not allowed. Nah As a Thai, it's not a good progress. It's backwards actually. It started to cause problems especially to people who "tried" it. There are rising cases about people going to hospitals because of marijuana use as we speak. After a week it has shown to cause society more harm than good. Even the new Bangkok's governor just recently showed concerns about marijuana being legal that it may make students addicted to it and he wanted every school to be marijuana free zone. And as a parent, this is very concerning. Personally I think Thailand isn't ready yet for legalizing marijuana. Of course, you're a visitor. Y'all love this shit. I get it.

And by having a coffee or tea I didnt mean it in the literal sense, I meant it as though the act of going to smoke cannabis is as though you're just going for a coffee or tea. Its not like you're getting drunk and rowdy at a bar starting fights or being a nuisance to the public... And while you do get inebriated it's not like alcohol where judgement is impaired. You know what I wish I could do? Go to a shop, purchase my cannabis safely, have a smoke with a nice book, and have a nice quiet evening after that. Why that is such a crime I have no idea.

American (VA) weed farmer here and it will likely be the same as most of the growing world where most farmers grow hip/modern strains with hype behind them like Cookies/Runtz/Gary Payton or growing ones they grew up with like me from Baltimore area growing Sour Diesel or people growing OG Kush/ Hazes from their youth however some farmers into unique strains or effects / preserving history will always grow the landrace strains native so don't worry friends :) I grew Mexican Airlines a 100% sativa landrace from Mexico/Texas border to grow a real Southern strain with history and also grew Sour Diesel my last grow and they ended up great the airlines best for vaporizing and diesel best for pressing concentrates it has intense rosin.

I'm one of those people who like to use cannabis and bought it through the internet all along But when marijuana is legal in Thailand I would also like to try some shopping in the coffee shop. I decided to go to Highland Café. Because I follow and appreciate their work. when I arrived I was really impressed with the atmosphere and the people there. But there is one thing that I am very disappointed in. When I went in and asked about the stuff I was interested in with this store's budtender, I only asked one question. "Does this strain can make me feel too sleepy?" (because I don't like strains that are overly soothing and lethargic, I like hybrid strains that provide happiness, creativity, and relaxation at the same time) The man replied to me in a somewhat unfriendly tone. "If you smoke a lot of cannabis, you're already sleepy" Then he immediately walked away from me with slight displeasure. I'm like.. ok dude... I don't know if my question is inappropriate to ask them or not. I've never had the experience of picking cannabis in a coffee shop. I'm sorry if I did something wrong. And this is the first coffee shop experience that I want to share. ps. their stuff is good

When the war on drugs started in the late 80s people started growing inside my best friend had another friend whos uncle was a hippie that was growing some old Thai bud seeds he had from the 70s and it was incredible, it was so sticky you could press it to the wall and it would stay and it tasted like chocolate and was dark brown but it was so good at the time the best I've ever smoked.

I have watched this develop over the last 5 or 6 years. At first I tried to keep my subscribers up to date on what was going on but the information available in Thailand is often speculative, different tomorrow, or different later that same day. There are bars where you can smoke pot but with many questions still unanswered here in Chiang Mai, kratom sodas are also available. There is also some attempt to still ban "high tech" high THC plants although the means of enforcement do not appear to be in place and still talk about additional measures goes on on a daily basis.
