I am thinking of king David in Bible, when prophet Saul came to anoint one of his children, his own Dad did not want to disclose that he has a young son David. The Jewish story says that his mom was Nesbit who got pregnant with his own dad in a different situation. But his dad never decided to have anymore children with his wife. When Davis was born he was an unwanted child. That is why David was left as a shepherd where his dad thought some animal will kill him one day. But one day God proved who is his original dad .
