Check out the drum duel between him and Buddy then let me know what you think. 👌👍
@shhs12274 жыл бұрын
@@timthegunguy47 Very true. And I will watch that duel But I will remind you that "kick ass nobody can!" can mean a lot of things. And there is no such thing as a best drummer. Only great drummers. There's a reason most people (people who like to listen to music or sometimes make it) will have Bonham topping best drummer lists whereas Buddy is also top 10 but never #1 from what I've seen. Technicality while playing isnt everything. To call Buddy Rich the best ever unequivocally based on technicality alone is absurd to me. Because as a former guitarist. You can play scales all you want but that doesnt mean you can actually play a song. (I'd also are gue Danny Carey is a more technical player than RIch anyway.) And just to be clear this isnt to shit on Buddy or anything. He truly is fantastic like all the other drummers I have mentioned. I love most drummers and find they are severely underappreciated.

One of many great things about music: this song, Green Day's Longview, and Harvey Danger all use similar variations on the shuffle beat for the verse and the straightened out shuffle beat for the chorus. The difference is mostly in how aggressively each is played. I like Manson's beat the best, by a long shot, but it's really cool that you can adapt the same distinctive beat for three very different songs and get great results each time as long as you calibrate to match the song's intensity.

@jackdeidolci4 жыл бұрын
No, we hear the sound in this position and maybe the camera has got some sort of compressor/noise gate, too. Without in-ear monitors he would hear a similar sound, maybe a bit more noisy. He's got a personalized sound (just what HE wants to hear) in his in-ear monitor, coming from the monitor mixer (on stage). In-ears for drummers have a special frequency pattern which should help the in-ear sound cut through the drums. The earbuds both insulate from surrounding sound (drums are very loud) and give you the sound you want.
