Everyone judges Marilyn on his looks and his controversial music. He's an incredibly intelligent person. Just because he chooses to portray his art in dark ways doesn't necessarily mean he's a terrible person. He wants to shock people and make they look into his lyrics and his meanings behind them. He's literally too smart for people. Yes he does stupid things sometimes but so does everyone else. That's just human nature. Marilyn Manson is a wonderful person to have on this planet and he has such a wonderfully creative mind.
@ahhwe-any74346 жыл бұрын
Doodthedood I don't judge him. I know he's gotta say some interesting sh looking the way & acting the way he does. If he didnt, I'd be irritated. Like wtf was the point in all that? Being different just for the sake of looking different and sh. Pshhh. That was fn annoying. Besides, he knows he's asking for it. He knows what he's doing. But you hafta admit he does do some weird sh. And most likely, he'll be that person to admit to it. He prob says sh like "and?..." Like, i front on my image... basically, i work in night life type sh. But in reality, I'm really boring. I'm not even that sexual. I'm seeing someone and he prob h8s how boring and dull I am. He's boring himself. I can go on. I was told to talk to this younger girl that cries all the time. Basically, i told her to grow a thicker skin. Bc ppl will always talk sh & "dont judge me bc i sin differently than u." I think she took it in. But im sure another part of her thinks shes more sneaky than what she isnt...i have lots of secrets & the web we weave... I'll leave now

He may end up dead one day from his lifestyle,I hope not but, but only he has the power to CHOOSE for himselve!

lol all the hate comments just because someone is not completely blind and sees that behind the weird show is a beautiful message and behind the rock star image is a really sweet, interesting and intelligent person. Yeah he likes scaring people. Yes he's different probably just to point out that we don't all have to be the same. Yes he sadly is doing drugs and does stupid things sometimes. But he is just SO MUCH MORE! His songs are to shock people to make the world think about very important things. Because he just is that way. Because he likes to be that way. Because if he'd stand there in a nice suit singing a soft, slow song about peace and love, bullying and mental illness, those people who use religion as an excuse for everything… would anyone think about his message, would anyone actually listen?

When the whole Columbine shooting happened, Marilyn Manson showed exactly what kind of person he really is when being asked what he would have said to the shooters if he had the opportunity to talk to them. "I wouldn't have said anything, I would have LISTENED, those kids had something to say and nobody paid attention to them. If they HAD this all wouldn't have happened."
@jimajams70805 жыл бұрын
Very profound what he said. And so fucking right. It was the parents fault.
@hexe74055 жыл бұрын
Kat2873 it wasn’t the parents fault either. In their Diary, they wrote that they had loving and awesome parents and that they had a great childhood. IF we want to claim someone as the fault, it was the school and the students
@janelle0095 жыл бұрын
No, that's motive.. not fault. Victims of mass shootings aren't at any fault. My God, no ones life is perfect.. You dont take away someone's life if it isn't self defense. At the least they shouldn't take anyone out with them.
@hexe74055 жыл бұрын
Janelle 09 just read my comment again and I didn’t meant it to phrase like that (and even cringed a little). My apologies. Of course the innocent students aren’t the cause. Mostly the bullies and of course the shooters themselves are. But in first place are the ones that pull the trigger. Sorry again for my phrasing.
@janelle0095 жыл бұрын
@@hexe7405 Thank you.. and I am sorry too because I dont like what I said either lol I hate when talking about a true crime case, someone accuses another of "victim blaming/bashing" when that isnt exactly the case. Also, I agree about not all of them having terrible childhoods. I read a comment the other day where someone said if criminals and addicts had good parents they wouldn't end up that way & that they're involved in their kids life so that wont happen. Many addicts had good parents as well. Honestly, I think it's many different things that factor into why they do it. Anyway, thanks for replying to me 🙂

Manson has an autobiography... It's amazing, as is this...
@-Vitalis-8 жыл бұрын
I don't like his music that much, but he's one interesting individual: I share his visions on religion and art (painting), in general. Something I love from him is his relaxed personality and the way he says what he really feels, without fear of what other people may think or say. Some say he's excentric... but to be honest, which artist isn't "outside the norm"? For example, Francis Bacon. Some say he painted "the truth", and most of the times, the truth isn't "beautiful" (yeah, that term is ambiguous as shit). Personally, I love his depiction of Pope Innocent X. At least for me, that painting IS the truth: those wealthy merchants of faith are rotten to the bone. Needless to say, Bacon, de Kooning, Picasso and specially (I believe) Chagall, are Manson's main pictoric influences.

One thing I really like about Manson is how laid back he is. His music is over the top and crazy and dark and twisted, but he himself is actually pretty quiet and reserved. He doesn't get angry. He's just very quiet Even when people are super hostile to him (his interview tih Bill O Reilly or one of the other soccer moms of America representatives, for example), his answers are just super calm and simple, and usually quite devastating.

+Charles Puckett You're 100% correct. I was a student teacher at that time and overly simplified my original comment. I should have said, "I lived in a very conservative area and majority of parents thought it WAS Eminem and Marilyn causing kids to rebel. The first thing I was privy too was an interview on MTV is Marilyn not jumping to conclusions but concerned about deeper issues and LISTENING and having an open dialogue. The school where I completed teacher stint was very isolated (Think along lines of Footloose) and (I think, but not 100% it was Tipper Gore) getting parents riled up. The school where I was teaching thought solution was to ban hoodies, music devices/headphones, down to no "Eminem look" Boys must have natural hair color and no earrings.... I have to kind of laugh knowing 15 years later, his own daughter graduated with honors and is doing just fine in college. So, obviously he wasn't the sole the problem. To think I'm celeb crazed is so far off track. I often retort on posts 'Just because someone isn't famous, doesn't mean they're not highly successful in their field' I could've worded it much better, but it was just a passing comment. Didn't mean literally the ONLY one.

It's funny that all you "Christian" people are on him damning him to hell and calling him a faggot.... judging! I myself am a born-again Christian, and from what I've read in the bible and in my studies, it isn't up to us to decide where Mr. Manson goes. It also isn't for us to judge someone based on skin color, eye color, hairstyle, or appearance in general; we are supposed to love all things and all people. If Christians set the example to be "We all hate you unless you're straight, white, and have blonde hair," then how and why would you expect people to want to be a part of that evil and judgmental behavior? Art has many different forms. I see MM as an artist, and a very successful one. This is how he's decided to live his life and represent himself. Believe it or not, he actually helps many people cope with a lot of different things. Since you have access to KZbin, you have the freedom to click on whatever video you'd like. If you don't like him, then why'd you choose to watch this video?

@ataris82210 жыл бұрын
Actually, I have a job, and an education, which you clearly lack based on your closed-mindedness and your poor grammar, spelling, and lack of punctuation. You also fail to use words i.e. hhhhh and plzzzzzzz are not those of any language. So please, before you respond to anyone else, go educate yourself and learn how to spell. Your lack of intelligence makes it hard for you to even make a sentence. I can't even comprehend what you are or were trying to say. By the way, there is no space between your punctuation mark and the word at the end of the sentence. Two spaces go after you end a sentence. You just make it so easy for people.
