The demo version of this song is even more spooky, it just sounds so much darker and I love it. Is that a flute? She should've kept them in to be honest, it sounds like an ancient instrument so it really fits. It's so amazing how she put these demos together by herself at home. I love the rawness of them, it feels so special hearing them. This is gonna be on repeat.

I love listening to the demos because you can tell HOW much of the production she had a hand on, like she didn't just write the lyrics, she also did the melody, and on top of that the production of other instruments, vocals, etc.

I cannot even state how much I love this dense and dark sound. This song production might have gone any other way and come into a more elaborated goth rock-synth vibe. I think that something like this deserves to end up right in a playlist among The Cure and Siouxsie songs. Marina is the queen of goth-pop!
