Last year in religion class we had to chose a song that represents violence. So I chose this song because it fits so perfectly and has so many important lines. I translated the whole song (I live in Germany) and my teacher was so impressed by Marina and the whole song. Can we please talk about Marina's deep lyrics? Honestly, I think that's what really draws me to her songs. Her voice is amazing, the beat is always catchy, and the vibe of the song is amazing as well. But the lyrics. Goddamn the lyrics, that's what really got me hooked. It has happened multiple times with Marina's songs. If I don't particularly like it at first, but the lyrics are beautifully written, I will listen to it over and over again. Agreed I got a lot of leverage from electra heart when listening to the lyrics.
