Boisvert is so good on the processus podcast. I think the difference is Mathias Brunet doesn’t cut him off consistently and argues every point he makes. Boisvert isn’t able to match Tony’s confrontational energy and it makes for a lot of dead air. It’s too bad because those who don’t speak French are not able to appreciate Boisvert’s great hockey mind. He’s not 100% on his prospect evaluation and doesn’t pretend to be. It’s no different in the Habs Management scout room where everyone does not see eye to eye. You can still respect each other and have good hockey conversations. Don’t miss out on the processus podcast. It’s a gem.

It is not easy for the snake to share his own view on the Montreal Canadiens prospects. If he does not hype them like most guests usually do on the show...Tony attemps while joking to belittle him. I am sure the snake knows a lot more about hockey/scouting than Tony. I am sure that Grant McCagg would not take that kind of abuse from Tony !!!

To celebrate nick getting 30 isn’t mediocrity, it’s celebrating a milestone in a young players career and maybe that will inspire him to get more another year. It could be 30 plus one and going forward it’s always 30 plus. Maybe even one season 40 plus. I can’t believe this bothered you snake. Slaf is a good teammate for it I believe.
@tylerlussier18962 ай бұрын
Suzuki is probably going to Score 33-34 goals by the end of the season… once this team has a power play quarterback like Lane Hutson I’m almost certain Suzuki could touch 40… I believe Juraj, Caufield and Suzuki all have 30-40 goal potential and if Habs fans think that’s not an amazing line in the future 🤷🏼♂️ I think they need to give their heads a shake… 3 players on a line that can play above average to elite defence while scoring 30-40 goals each is going to be one of the most exciting balanced lines in the NHL in 2-3 season from now…

All do respect as a Leafs fan I believe Montreal overvalues their players just as the Leafs do. The rest of the league is not excited about Montenbault. Slavkovsky is not a franchise player. Montreal is a work in progress and when the fans get anxious about playoffs the team will start making moves.
@finalguildis2 ай бұрын
No one said slaf was a franchise player. But the way he plays is like a ranta on Colorado. Bigger players take longer to develop. He will be a beast and make a bigger difference in the playoffs than a smaller player who can put up pts in the regular season. Slaf will make the bigger difference than anyone in that draft and will still worst case be the second Maybe third most pts player in that draft but hel also do that while playing at both ends of the ice and playing physical and being a beast

In negotiations for a player sometimes it’s better to not ask for what you want upfront. Sometimes in order to get what you want you have to make the other team think they are winning the negotiation. Maybe the habs knew what they wanted and had to redirect focus to Glass in order to “lose” the negotiations and get Suzuki. Nobody ever talks about this aspect of negotiation. They seem to always just talk about the obvious. “ what idiots, they were asking for Glass”!!!! When you’re making a trade you have to ask about all players. Slav reaches down to pick up the puck for Suzuki, who just notched his 30th for the first time. This is a Stanley cup celebration according to Boisvert. I am beginning to think Tony invites this guy just to get clicks and controversy. It’s still early… before the Habs took Juraj I was a big Juraj fan, But Cooley has dynamic skill and he may end up being the better offensive player, Juraj has no nonsense get it done skill like he’s not super flashy he’s just gonna put up points and get it done and there may be a world where Cooley is better offensively… I believe Juraj will be a PPG player 82-90 points while being better defensively and I believe Juraj will be the better player all around… Cooley may have more better offensive seasons… It’s still early and there is definitely a world where Juraj is just the better player point blank period in every aspect.. we shall see.

@@tylerlussier1896i really dont understand why we compare cooley with slaf? Slaf has clearly better point pace, size, impact, shot, defense, passing skills. Cooley wins only in 1area- he is more flashy. You wont be become contender when you have flashy player who shines once a time, you need regular constant impact player who can score, pass, impact play. Thats Slaf. With all due respecf Cooley wont ever be there. Even in points Slaf will be better though cooley can score more goals.
@tylerlussier18962 ай бұрын
@@martinesr7198 i literally said Slaf will be a better all around player lmao… And no Slaf will be a better goal scorer Cooley does not have the heavy shot that Slaf has, Cooley is a better passer and that may help him score more points than Slaf… I could see Slaf having 80-85 point seasons while Cooley has 85-90 point seasons that doesn’t mean Cooley is better and there may be some seasons where Slaf has more points, Slaf will definitely be a better goal scorer… if Slaf can keep developing his shot and add that to the playmaking he has now he could be a 100 point player like Rantanen and if that happens Slaf will be better offensively, But personally I see Slaf as a 80+ point player in the future instead of a 90+ point player and my opinion can change if Slaf comes out next season and really builds on this season…
