Some Notes: I have my health so low because the Gilded Hydra shotgun's magazine capacity increases with low health. Originally I planned to show every item I had individually like I did in the pilot video, so I dropped non-combat items so it'd go faster. I ended up forgetting to show the items individually, but fortunately they are shown at the end of the run anyway.

Honestly Gatling Gull sucks. Even after beating the game once, it sucks and I cant beat it without hit. Gatling gull is the boss i hate most in the game.

Focus more and dodging. Mostly with just movement not dodge rolling unless absolutely necessary. Stay at range and circle around him. His bullets spread out a lot once they get far away.

Felix-The-Ghost I recently fought mine flayer for the first time. I really didn't find him all that difficult. I had him at like 25% when I died against him. Then again, fighting a boss one time is no indication of how difficult he actually is.

It's difficult (stressful for me at least) to dodge some of his 360° bouncing bullet storm attacks without using blanks. It's not that he's just sooo difficult, it's just difficult to dodge his attacks compared to other bosses even at the same level in the Gungeon.

I did ser manual after getting rid of all blanks and guns, using a normal character's dodge roll, I wanted to see if the tutorial did anything if you ran out of ammo in the pea shooter, but nope, so just continued and was like "You know what, sure."

Jesus Christ man. That was beautiful. How many hours roughly have you put into this? I’m at 110 and I’ve killed the past for everyone (apart from robot) and literally just killed the lich, and there’s no way I’d be able to beat the lich without getting hit with no blanks, items and finishing off with the pistol. I’m so impressed haha

Mastered the Dragun, got through hell and only got 2.5 hearts left and I didn't even get farther then I did last time, like my last attempt I got to the 2nd phase but ofc I ace dragun and die at 1st phase he was still at half health like I just don't fucking get it.

First phase on the Dragun or the Lich? Dragun attacks vary so much sometimes you just get lucky and get easier attacks to dodge/don't have to deal with his knives

Yes, ice cube increases your "coolness" stat, which among other things, lowers the "cooldown" time of active items 😁

In the previous video, which was recorded before there was a programmed maximum coolness (or rather, a minimum cooldown time) I effectively had instant cooldown on my active items by a powerful (and very lucky) combination of items.

Thanks man! I actually have a recording of doing just that with the Robot character! No extra items in my inventory at all, but I used spice, and maybe a shrine or some item to improve hidden stats. I have the data on my backup computer (hopefully) but my main laptop fried and I'm in transition with my living situation also, so I'm not sure when I'll be back with new videos, but man, do I have a large backlog of recordings and fresh ideas to boot.

No problem, but if you need a bigger challenge you just try not to take damage while fighting him with just a starting weapon of a character. Also, great job doing it with the Robot, and good luck with that situation you mentioned.

I've also got one more idea. Do the gunsling king's (Not sure about the name) challenges for boss rooms. Ex. no dodge rolling for kill pillars. Good luck with that if you do try it.

Hey, that's new information to me--the "shuffle off" guy? I thought the room chosen was preassigned and thus invalidated if you entered without talking to him. If I'm reading you right, the room is just chosen from non-visited rooms? So if I visit every room but the boss the challenge will be for the boss? If so, that's a really awesome idea (too bad he's not always on every floor, and never in Bullet Hell) What happens if you visit every room then talk to him?

Oh, sorry, that's not what I meant, but you should try it. I meant to try one of his challenges in the boss room, but by seeing what he'd ask you to do in the set room and instead doing it in the boss room. I don't know much about that mechanic.

I didn't interact with the shrine at the beginning. With a few characters I had high curse coincidentally so I do fight the "jammed" red variety of the Lich, however each phase has a separate chance to be jammed or not and it is rare for all three phases to be jammed

Fun fact: Unlike regular enemies, Jammed bosses do not have 3x hp. Instead the follow this formula: (Base boss health) * 1.2 + 100. Also, the Jammed Beholster fires 4 rockets instead of 2 for some reason. Yet all the other bosses patterna seem to be the same.
