Malie "Marinate" lol. I knew Mu'a was the capital before Nukualofa from my readings on Cpt. Cook. If I can remember from written materials Mu'a and Lapaha were royal grounds and off limits to lower class subjects. Interesting fact when Cpt. Cook was in Tonga they noticed a lot of the people had missing fingers some had more than one or two missing. There were hardly anyone who had all full digits. Crazy! It was explained that people would cut off a digit or more in mourning for the lost of a love one. Just random stuff to marinate on 😂. Looking forward to chapter 4. stay bless toko, malo aupito

I don’t think Tongan hide their pre Christian history. We had a dark era in our history before Christianity. Due to Christianity, our customs and culture have evolved over the years to what we have today.
