Not gunna lie, 20:00 was a pretty emotional moment. Damn good man never got to see his Boy grow up. However, in a sense he died SO his Boy could grow up, in free, democratic society with all the opportunities in the World... Gary and Randy were on Super 62 which was piloted by a guy I grew up with in Arizona. "Mike G" was what many of us called him. He was small and reserved in school. Which goes to show that status in school is not a factor in how one develops or how far they go. Mike's MH60 was hit by an RPG but he managed to crash land back at the airbase. Once back home in the States his wife pressured him to retire, it got to the point "..its me or the military" he resigned and went on to work as a helicopter test pilot where he was killed during a test flight in Florida. Had he stayed in he would have been retired by now. His unit did not lose anyone in combat until Gulf War ll. Mike was awarded the Silver Star for his actions that day in Mogadishu. I remember reading the book Blackhawk Down and seeing Mikes full name and thinking, "That's got to be Mikey G from Wickenburg, his name is very uncommon for it not to be him.." 3 years later I ran into a classmate that was Mikes's closest friend. He confirmed that it was Mike. They had enlisted on the Buddy system and volunteered for Aviation mechanics. After a few years Mike decided he wanted to fly, they were already in the 160th, which is how he came to be in Mog that day.

Without a doubt our president should hve some type of military back round!! How the hell can any1 turn around nd ask our soldiers to go into action, wen the president themselves has NO CLUE what it means to put on their uniform everyday nd protect our country nd our citizens!! Dude is full of crap-upper leadership botched that mission in the worst way by underestimating the enemy and overestimating their own admittedly superb fighting units. A truck can carry two cases of 5.56 ammo without making the logistics suffer one bit.those two cases can carry thousand or more rounds. It is weighty, but not voluminous They didn't have the allies apprised that they were possibly gonna need help- so there's another big leadership mistake.
