Looks good for camping. If you have an RV or truck probably easy to mount on your hitch carrier etc.

If you plan on using an e-bike regularly then there are state laws regarding the size of the motor and max speed. In NJ you can only use one with a max speed of 20mph, so I went with the 500W motor since that's as fast as it can go.The 750W bikes like the one you tested obviously go faster so you'd have to get it governed. I'm not sure about other states though. I'd also recommend getting a foldable one for easy transport that you could fit in your car and are simple to assemble

Great review. Items like this are not on my radar. It's great that you make them known and do a really thorough review.

I'm 6'1, and I'm closer to its riding max riding capacity. For the price, this bike seems more capable than a few of its competitors. I may have to pick me one up. Solid review with the test drive for us.

I’ve never thought much about bug out but I can definitely see how useful this would be, especially after reading some of the examples for situations for bug out. Also cause of the fact that it can still be used outside of those situations as well so multi purpose

Great video. 👍💪 I'm building an expedition camping truck. Was looking at adding two Royal Himalayan bikes but those are bulky and lots of added wieght. Might think of one or two of these as an option 🤔 maybe as a backup.

Great review, I appreciate your thinking on readiness. I don't have any 'bug out' kits prepared but I do have the essential supplies/equipment on hand. I'm not seeing an "E-bike" as a bug out item. Pedaling one of those beasts after the battery runs down is a no-go. The Macfox X2 seems like it would be a lot of fun to cruise around on though!

You could always use it for recon or patrol roun your bug out location. It's also quite so you can sneak around.i use mine for trails my suv can't fit.

I'm not sure I'd bug out with anything that runs on batteries. It's a thought though...

I'm just not sold on electric for BO situations... I like them for short distance in decent weather, but for SHTF/Grid Down situation... It's a liability for me.

I need to get a bike with big tires because with regular size tires make me feel fat.

Aside from 1776, when was the last time Americans had to "bug out"?
@billydamac10 ай бұрын
Natural disasters are some where one might have to bug out. Hurricane Katrina for instance.
