I know that World's End is just a corrupted version of the ending theme from the original game. But for some reason, part of the initial melody, even in the original, it sorta reminded me to "His World" from Sonic '06. Which to me is even more terrifying in the context of this story, because Fawful has become the ultimate overlord of the world. It's *his world* now.

This project was great, it shook me as I watched it, but I have to credit the music, which made it so much more unsettling. The Fi_e Se_ect track made it feel like doomsday was upon us, Ruined Kingdom as you stumbled into Bowser was straight up scary, and World’s End was just sad knowing everyone’s dead and darkness fell onto the world

Something about Aftermath and onward just creeped me to the core. As a kid, I'd always imagine what horrible things would've happened had the Dark Star prevailed in the end, and this adaptation perfectly captured that. This and Galaxy were the first Mario games that really hooked me with a grand story that had real consequences. The title screen, save screen, and Fawful music captured the game's tone so well with the story. Something about, from my perspective, Fawful losing control of the Dark Star and becoming a victim to it as well, but just basking in the glee of his victory and his own horrific mutation seems scarily accurate to his character. I know the trope of "Disturbing, secret alternate ending where the hero fails and the world is doomed" was really overdone in gaming creepypasta back in the day, but something about this story and the way you've put it to screen really worked for me. Good stuff

Honestly, i would really love to see this type of creepypasta with a bad ending of the Mushroom Kingdom but for Partners in Time. The concept of the shroobs winning and eradicating the kingdom’s life is a very creepy yet interesting thought. I hope one of the many talented writers may get inspiration from this idea and write a creepypasta for that game too.

i like how for the corrupted version of The End not only is it G Major but the main notes seem to hang man i can't say it enough but you deserve props for this. its not often that there's video game creepypasta mockup with this sort of effort while also still managing to disturb me in some way. Man, I just got this in my recommendations, and this is a very interesting concept. If the Dark Star won, the whole story changes. For Dream Team, with no Luigi, there's no one to bring back the Pillo people and the Dream stone would be destroyed by the Dark Star due to how much of a threat the Dream Stone is against the Dark Star. Antasma would actually find a way to cooperate with the Dark Star to bring more darkness. Keep in mind, Antasma would be giving everyone nightmares while the Dark Star is still spreading darkness. Paper Jam, nothing. The book, never even discovered. For the sake, let's say that somehow, SOMEHOW, for some reason, the book releases the paper characters, including Paper Mario and Paper Bowser. They are in a different world and it is filled with darkness. They have no idea where they are, when in reality, it is absolute hell. What can Paper Mario even do to try to save the new darkened world? And more importantly, how terrified would Paper Bowser be when he sees the Dark Star and the Dark Star just transforms into Dark Bowser right in front of him, reminding him that he too can kill Paper Bowser the same way he killed HIS Bowser. Paper characters, dead. When it comes to Brothership... nothing happens. Concordia is pretty much the only safe place from the Dark Star, since the Dark Star has ZERO knowledge about it in the first place, so there's no point. Plus, not gonna give out any spoilers to those who never played the game.

Whatever happened with Dark Bowser? I know the guy is created by the Dark Star and he and said Dark Star are the same, but shouldn't he be more powerful then Fawful? Fawful only stole half of the power and then fused with the Dark Star once the full power is complete. So, shouldn't the Dark Star dispose of Fawful once the star gained their full power and has no need of him?
