I dont think its a dissapointment in recruiting he cant control the emotions of these kids. He's done exactly what most recruits ask of us "WIN" and in year 3 we did just that. The trajectory of the problem is going in a positive way, will continue as long as we get guys that want to be here. NSD is still there and trust he knows that too. I rightfully think Miami should be in over Bama,SC, and Ole Miss. First, Bama and Ole Miss have 2 unranked losses. Bama lost to 6-6 VANDY(who lost to Georgia State), let them put 40 on them, and got blown out by 6-6 Oklahoma and only mustered 3 points, then you topple that with another loss to TN. Ole Miss lost to a 4-8 KY at Home, an overrated and overranked LSU, and a 5-5 FL at the time. The case with SC is yes although they have improved and played better you lost to both of the teams(blown out by Ole Miss) I just mentioned as well as losing to LSU. The entitlement of SC fans talking about they deserve to be in when you didn’t actually beat the teams is astonishing. If that’s the case let everyone just schedule tougher games if we can use the excuse of losing to ranked teams when not actually winning the games doesn’t matter anymore. Give the SEC its participation trophies for not actually winning the games. I believe GT(took UGA to 8OTs and has 2 ranked wins) and Syracuse(ranked number 23 in AP rankings and has 2 ranked wins) are possibly better losses than losing to a 6-6 Vandy/ blown out by Oklahoma, 4-8 KY at Home. Miami has lost on the road by a combined 9 pts. Bama had lost to Vandy/Oklahoma by combined 26 pts. Put Miami in because what are we really talking about right now.

The fact that he has to “make a case” is all you need to know about politicking. Which he claims to not be doing. Cal and Va Tech victories were gifts from the refs and the loses were in the coach. He had way more talent than his competition all year long and found a way to coach his talent down to the competition. Didn’t make the conference championship game. Can’t make the playoffs with Florida as your best win and losses to teams with way less talent: should have made your conference tournament at least to be in the conversation. Acc isn’t a conference where the 3rd best team should be in the playoffs.

Ok Frédérique outside of 22Pruitt was best player on defense in the game. All those balls were 50/50 he was complete shutdown in every single game up until this point. He lead the team in tackles this game. Also he was sticking to the wr like glue. Just wasn’t his day for 50/50 balls. So calling out OJ and comparing him to the usual suspects is crazy.

These teams talk about their schedules like they are so hard.. here is ole miss first 5 opponents: Furman, Middle Tenn, wake forest, GA southern and a loss to Kentucky. That's almost half their season. The other half includes losses to LSU, FL and a nail biter against a team that was 2-9. Bamas resume isn't much better.
