As a die hard Miami fan the only reason this season hurts is because we wasted the best QB we ever had. Cam Ward was the only reason Miami fans had to be optimistic. We all are used to the disappointment but seeing Cam Ward go out like this stings. Hopefully Cristofraud gets fired and we hire Rhett Lashlee. Ima miss Cam Ward at least he gave a reason to be optimistic
@Stonewall29Ай бұрын
We should’ve never let Lashlee walk but I think the fact we kept hiring prior OC/DC’s already on staff that just fired the HC prior, eliminated him for contention. Thats your big insight? The fact that Mario needs to surround himself with a great coaching staff with elite coordinators? Everyone knows that! We all said when Mario got hired that the only way he could succeed was to get the best staff and best coordinators possible because Mario is not a good game day coach. Everything you said is correct. Its just a tad obvious. You are also right that most of his recruits are not getting developed! The ones who excel as freshmen do so because of natural talent. Mario has surrounded himself with a staff of recruiters who cannot teach or develop players. They are also x's and o's deficient and because Mario is also, he has absolutely no idea what great coaches look like. Watching Sam Brown play over JoJo was criminal. J. Scott, Lightfoot, Malik Bryant, and about 30 more guys should have played a lot more. When you combine that with terrible coordinators like Guidry, and Cam Ward who carried Dawson, it's easy to see why this teams fails. The only thing that was successful from the coaching was Mario decided to stop being a complete incompetent buffoon on game days. This program is on life support and its sad because they have everything they need to win besides great coaching.

Simple...the players are not as good as what our own media every preseason hypes them up to be. This is proven on the field on game day. Players who we don't know their names, on other teams, not just high ranked teams, can run just as fast, jump just as high, QBs making plays against us. On the field those players on other teams look bigger l, stronger, more physically developed. You can even channel surf other games of teams around the country and see players that just look different. They look like men, making a lot of our players look like boys. Listening to only Canes media gets us out of touch with reality until game day, then we're wondering WTF? We lean towards blaming coaches, and that has been an issue, but a lot of the false hope comes from believing Canes media saying how great our players are. For too many years, we've only had a small percentage of really good players on the field at any given time. Watching the NFL draft of Canes players isn't like it used to be.

If Cam wasn't on this year's team...their record would've been 7-5

miami just fucking blow. couldnt even go 12-0 with that easy ass schedule and an elite qb behind center. they're lucky the refs saved them from 2 more losses. they should be 8-4

You’re not making the playoff not with that last loss and Cam Ward is not gonna be playing in the stupid ball game. That means nothing. He’s gonna sit out and get ready for the NFL draft. Oh wow it’s life 10-2 is not too bad. I wouldn’t play some garbage bowl game that means absolutely nothing. I’d be sitting out to screw it until NCAA. Does something about it. I’d be sitting out these garbage bowl games that you get some stupid ring that nobody cares about. Good luck next year go canes

And he has returned, glory be. Id say Miami going to pieces like they do every time they are poised for greatness is karma for how they acted, played in the 80s and early 2000s. The universe demands a price for everything and eventually you will pay that price one way or another.

Exactly 😭 This guy made it sound like we go 9-3 every year when in reality we’ve gone 6-6 basically every year since 2006
