Oh boy...this game...alright, I'm going to plaster this entire comment with the story on how I got this game and my experience with it. I was at the shopping centre with my Mom 1 afternoon and we decided to go and check out the market, sometimes we came across some pretty good deals and I personally was always happy to go because it had a video game shop in it. We arrived, I then went to the video game shop and low-and-behold, I noticed this game on the shelf. Obviously this was before the Internet was a major thing so I had no idea this game even existed and I was very very excited to play it when I could buy it. Sadly we didn't have the money on that day but my Mother promised that when she had the money, she'd buy it for me. Now the reason I was so excited was because at the time, I was glued to Super Mario World which to this day remains my favourite Mario Game so you can imagine how excited I was when I discovered this game. A couple of weeks then went by and my Mother then said "You remember that Mario game you wanted? We can go pick it up after school if you want", needless to say I was ecstatic, I literally went through the entire day just thinking about this game, in fact I think I even got in trouble at school a couple of times because I wasn't paying attention to what I was being told. Then finally, the end of the day came and we went to buy it. Then I got back home, jumped straight onto my Super Nintendo, and I played it... .....Half an hour later, I put it back in it's box and went back to Super Mario World...

We've all been there, many of us more than once. Being a kid in the 90s made buying video games an interesting time -- there were so many turkies you bought because they had a cool cover or were loosely tied to an established franchise (ie this game), but one cool thing about that time too is sometimes you'd end up buying a game that you wouldn't have otherwise that blew your mind, or introduced you to a whole new genre you would grow to love. I remember buying Star Craft because the cover looked cool and it became one of my favorite games ever -- even though I had never played anything like it before. There are a lot of people today that won't buy a game at all because they'll research it online and realize it's not a shooter, or not in XZY genre, even if it's a great game that they may have loved. So it slices both ways.

Also, accordingly to Wikipedia, this is the plot of the game: "Bowser sets up a castle in Antarctica, and plans to use many hair dryers from Hafta Havit, a mail order company, to melt Antarctica's ice and flood Earth. I've actually had use for this recently. My daughters about to turn four and wanted to play "daddie's games." I figured since she's only used tablets her whole life, the concept of a controller would be very overwhelming, so I fired this up on the _totally legitimate and legal SNES_ and let her go at it. I figure it would teach the concepts of pushing buttons and how that correlates to on screen actions very well with no risk of losing or frustration. It seems to be working very well.

Bradley Doesnt Give A Fox Don't worry. I would have too back then if I could figure it out. I really liked educational games when I was a kid because they made me feel so smart while also playing a game, which made them feel amazing when compared to doing the same thing but in school. Problem was that since Mario's not supposed to involve talking to people, I never figured out that's what I was supposed to do. I just ran around stomping koopas until I couldn't find anymore, then got stuck. I had a fair amount of educational games on the computer back in the day though, and really enjoyed all of them.

Marios missing's plot is that mario and luigi wanted to murder bowser again but bowser had a plan to capture and defeat mario by trapping him to murder him in like 4928 hours so luigi has to go around the earth to find mario for some reason (by the way marios missing is the first mario game where you don't play as mario I think)
