It doesn’t, but in order for it to count as a new shortcut record it needs to be faster than non-sc. Nobody had beat the non-sc time with the shortcut yet

Avoiding the wall really depends on the angle that you clip it. Glass, one of the players who hit this shortcut, was able to do so actually
