By the looks of these standings, Vena is a guarantee at the finals, but hard to tell on the other 2 slots because the difference between 2nd & 4th is like 13 points which is like a 5 course radius.

2:19:36 & 1:54:20 from Jones are one of the best play's in MK64 i've ever seen !! The reaction & frame perfect hop @ 2:19:36 was really dope. And if he would have tried to brake (to avoid spinning ...) instead of hopping @ 1:54:20, he would have drowned, losing way more time ... That 'last frame hop' on Banshee boardwalk was nothing less than pimp !!

I don’t know why Stinson gives up sometimes. It shouldn’t be allowed to just play bad on purpose. He should realize how lucky he is to play in such a great tournament and be more appreciative. I know this game can be frustrating but it’s not fair to other players when you give away points to the group you’re in. The young gun did the same thing one year and it cost Jake a playoff spot.

It's the red shell that Vena fired at 1:05:16. When you fire a red shell in 1st place it will keep going around the track until it hits something or someone. Both Red Shells (in this mode) and Blue Shells have trouble pathing through the "bat house" and will fly up into the air as you see here. You will see this pretty frequently when playing multiplayer, and it is why it's better to hold off, if you can, on firing a blue shell until after you exit the "bat house".

So after watching every years past tourneys at least twice each, i think moomoo farm is the single most borring race to watch. Like i even prefer watching rainbow road as the length allows from some fun things like kock offs at the ski jump or star launches over the rails.
