Watching these videos of MK7 just makes me so much more appreciative of Mario Kart 8's removal of snaking. I wish they'd release a patch that makes it so that it worked like MK8, where you have to be turning for a certain amount of time to get a boost instead of just wriggling the stick back and forth.

That wasn't a shock dodge because Mankalor used the star before the last player got the lighting. Mankalor didn't know that the player on last position would get the lighting.
