The stuff in between cobblestones on maps like thwomp ruins, luigis mansion, animal crossing, hyrule circuit and sky garden is moss so you are actually good to go.

@@SALTYTOAD00 Basically, yeah. In fact, if you use regular Metal Mario, the Sneaker (or Bounder in UK), the Metal Tires and the Plane Glider, you then have a cheap alternative to the gold setup. Same stats and everything! The only difference is that the cheap version has a HIGHER invincibility stat than the gold stuff, making it even better!

There is a such thing as “Smart steering” it causes you NOT to touch the offrode and pushes you away if you attempt to, and last when he got 7th he hit plus. He was on the area/button where you turn it on….. and EDITING!……but you never know

Twisted mansion looks like clover. not grass. Hyrule castle is clover and moss. Ribbon Road has grass. Astro turf is grass. Synthetic grass. Also dead/brown grass is still grass.
