On Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Coconut Mall there are advertisements in the background for Dino Dino Jungle, Vanilla Lake and Donut Plains. It’s difficult to say wheter or not we’ll get another Donut Plains or if it’s referring to the one in the base game. But the other two are basically confirmed by Nintendo

Daisy Circuit's a bit too low. I get that Circuit tracks are all meh but honestly Daisy Circuit has the best track, and if a Daisy track gets in I hope it's that. *Better that than Toad Circuit*

Daisy’s Circuit is a pretty basic, simple, and fun track. Not to mention, it’s pretty and beautiful for a Wii track (and would be even more beautiful on MK8, if the textures and colors aren’t bad).

Apparently Coconut Mall and Shroom Ridge aren't in Tour but have been datamined, and so many of the best tracks are either in tour or have been datamined like the Wuhu Island tracks, 7's Rainbow Road, Maple Treeway, DK Summit, I think DK mountain, I'm hopeful that this pack will be really good. If Koopa Cape comes back though it has to be the Wii version. The 7 version sucks.

Maple Tree way, DK Summit, Mushroom Gorge, Rainbow Road 7, Rock Rock maintain, Cheep Cheep Lagoon, Daisy Hills, Shy Guy Bazar, Bowser's Castle 7, Rosalina Iceworld, Wario Shipyard, DK pass, Waluigi Pinball, Dino Dino Jungle, and a lot more. Also leaks have shown Maka Wuhu and Wuhu Loop in Mario Kart Tour. Also Mario Kart Tour has amazing original tracks like Vancouver Velocity, or Merry Mountain. Plus all of the city tracks have 3 variants that will likely cycle through each one like the Animal Crossing Seasons.

I really liked Kalimari Desert but I think it’s nostalgia creeping in. I remember getting Mario Kart on the N64 the day the game was released and seeing a Train move around the track just seemed amazing. It was such a huge step forward from what we’d had before on the SNES.

I might've missed something you said but uhh what happened to the snes and gba tracks? There are some good ones in there, especially GBA. Also, I think you didn't give N64 and GCN a fair shot. They're both excellent games. The tracks were severely nerfed in DS and a little bit in Wii, so going off of them isn't too amazing. But I will tell ya which tracks are good from the 2 games. (In my opinion) Wario Stadium is kind of controversial. It is liked by some and hated by others. Usually because of its length. I personally love the track and think it would benefit a ton from being remade. GCN bowser castle: meh. Very meh track. It's not as good as newer versions of Bowser's castle. GCN rainbow road: I think most people like this track simply because it's another rainbow road. I think this one is worse than most. Very hard with not a lot of guard rails. Wario coliseum: this track is amazing and would be absolutely fantastic in 8. If they add anti-gravity it would be one of my new favorite tracks! Mushroom City: best car track, would be bad in 8. The shrunken cars in 8 would severely butcher this track.

I did mention at the start that I was only ranking the 3D tracks cause I wouldn’t be able to give any good opinions on the 2D tracks. That’s a fair point, if the track was intended for a different game, then the remade version in DS or Wii is probably not a fair way to judge them, but at the same time the ranking was based off how much I wanted to see it remastered, so if it works best in it’s original game then maybe it shouldn’t be remastered. (But maybe just the DS and Wii version fucked it up) Also thanks for the perspective on the other courses I haven’t played, I’m still gonna want to see them all in the game, but if something like gcn bowsers castle is meh, then i won’t be as disappointed

As nice as it would be to have Waluigi Pinball or Wario Stadium return along with a number of other tracks, there's about one big thing against a majority of them returning: The music. Back when 8 first came out, along with all the new stuff, one of the biggest things about the game was the fact that no track shared the same music. We look over all the remaining tracks, especially a lot of the older ones, a lot share music. I really doubt Nintendo would break that for the dlc, but theres still a whole lotta cups left to be shown off

Clap backs/ info for courses he hasn't played: Edit Posted too soon Luigi Circuit: Is hyper unique in the fact that you literally run into oncoming traffic constantly, it'll humble the frontrunners who always get 1st. We as the eternal 6-12 need it Mushroom City: Wiggler Bus Wario Coliseum: This is easily one of the most difficult courses they put out in history. The only reason it's not above Rainbow Roads is because of all the guard rails. 200cc would make Neo Bowser look like a beginners course and it needs a return Toad's factory: way more boring then people remember and the mud at the end is a pain in the ass, only bring it back if the supercut at the end is kept for some 200cc shenanigans Mushroom Gorge: Another nostalgia blind track, only good part is the last shortcut otherwise the mushrooms completely slow it down (however I already know its in based solely on the fact a mushroom was added in Sky Garden) Bowser Castle Wii: worse version of GNC Bowser's castle in which you literally can play chicken with the cannon to get a shortcut Moonview Highway: It's half blind corners in congested traffic with boost pads. Please anything but this clusterfuck

I overall agree with this list. Like you said at the end, Nintendo is just bringing back tracks from tour with little to no changes. Which is a shame since they'll most likely not include mk8's gimmick, anti-gravity It also ruins the element of surprise since if you know most of the tracks that are in tour then, they'll most likely be in it Something cool Nintendo could do for the last cup is make every track a rainbow road. It would like a ultimate test of your abilities. On the bright side,the tracks from tour won't be locked behind a greedy gacha pay to win game anymore. (Also,they need to add bowsers castle from the Wii,the music of that track is way too good)

I completely disagree with most of the list, our wanted courses don't match at all (I mean, Banshee Boardwalk, Airship Fortress, Daisy Cruiser, Peach Gardens, Luigi's Mansion and Frappe Snowland are must-haves for me just to give you an idea). Because most of them have been remade and the ones that haven’t I would say I want to see them in the dlc. Also I didn’t do any of the 2d tracks cause I would have nothing to say about them

I'm always with the idea: I don't think they will add track that have same OST. For example: Luigi Raceway and Mario Raceway, there is Royal Raceway. Waluigi Pinball, there is Wario Stadium

I think that if they bring back Waluigi Pinball they'll do a new remix specifically for it, Wario Stadium remix fits well for its track but doesn't really fit Waluigi Pinball. They do that with Mario Kart Stadium and Mario Circuit so it'd make sense

if you've only played GCN Luigi Circuit in DS, trust me it's so much better in the original. The chaos of that game adds a lot to the track and they made it way bigger in DS so it ends up feeling empty.
