These are my predictions for the roster of playable characters for a potential Mario Kart 9, including returning characters from previous games and new characters that have never been playable in Mario Kart before.

I'd love to see Ninji as a character. If they have a double dash mode, he'd be shy guy(s)'s partner with a turnip from as a special item. They both came from Mario 2 so yeah.

You did a great job with all the little graphics and animations on this one! I'm a big fan of including Cappy in the spin-offs, but gosh do I want the Koopalings and Pom-Pom/Boom-Boom outta there. They're so boring to me. I'd rather see Madame Broodal or Chargin Chuck be the next heavyweights. I do love me some Piantas, but I'd be surprised to see them included without Nokis. I was always bummed the little raccoon guys that exchange Blue Coins for Shines didn't ever reappear - they were so cute! If we're gonna get a Luma, I'd rather get Lubba, since I prefer named characters rather than generic species.

Plessie would be better instead of boom boom considering boom boom is mostly here to represent 3dw Plessie recently had a bigger role in bowser fury so i think its the perfect time to had him

I think Pianta was playable on Mario Sluggers on The Wii, And imo they would be heavyweights, but I agree with them deserving The spot, they're very iconic, funny And even adorable. Great video, I'll sub for more content like this!

There is no way that after the amount of backlash they got after MK8 released combined with the amount of love for MK Wii that Funky Kong won't be in MK9.

The way how you manage your video is perfect, i always thought about the fact of skins and dlc characters, like why wasting space with skins when you can make them like yoshi and shy guy colors in mk8

Personally, I’d include Dry Bowser and Dry Bones as skins. Since you mentioned the fact that Metal Mario and Peachette were too similar to Mario and Peach. And I’d also cut Baby Daisy and Lakitu because we have too many babies and I genuinely despise Lakitu as a character. Having him as the "Host" is enough. Lastly, I’d bring back my boy Wiggler and add "The Goomba Tower” as a new character to represent the most common Mario enemy. Basically 3 Goombas stacked on top of each other, one that controls the acceleration, another one that drives using their feet, and one at the top who can use items.

My Track Perdictions Are: *Mushroom Cup-* Mario Concert Mushroom Lake Ice Ice Road Kamek's Magic House *Flower Cup-* Mario Circuit Hurricane Verglas Whomp Island Yoshi's Dune *Star Cup-* Ocean Oasis DK Swamp Strawberry City Sunshine Beach *Special Cup-* Township Terrace Yoshi's Wooly Land Bowser's Castle Rainbow Road

Ideas for these tracks- Mario Concert: Similar to Electrodrome in theme, but very easy track since it is the very first one. More Mario-themed, probably. Mushroom Lake: This track starts out on a harbor near Peach's castle on a mushroom-shaped lake, and then the rest of the track is in the lake. Dorrie or Plessie may make an appearance. Ice Ice Road: At the beginning you enter an icy cave, similar to N64 Sherbet Land, but watch out for falling icicles. Kamek's Magic House: You are "shrunken down" into a big house. There is a lot of magic-themed decorations and furnature. Mario Circuit: Typical Mario Circuit. Probably based off a level in the newest mainline Mario game, kinda like how the Wii U one looks like a SM3DW level. Hurricane Verglass: You are in a town similar to Delfino Square or Daisy Hills. A hurricane is coming through and there is heavy wind at many parts of the track. Whomp Island: Rocky terrain with Whomps roaming around. Try not to get flattened. Yoshi's Dune- Desert track that goes into a pyramid. Probably Yoshi Sphinx here because there was one in the previous desert tracks.

Ocean Oasis: Similar to Water Park. Involves going down a water slide at the beginning and ending up in an underwater resort. You eventually get out onto a pier and then go back to the beginning for the second lap DK Swamp- Difficult swampy level with a lot of off-road. A thick layer of fog makes it hard to see. Possibly DK-related enemies and objects, such as a barrel cannon. Strawberry City: A city track similar to Mushroom City or Toad's Turnpike with pink buildings and cars. There is a large Peachette statue in the city's center. Sunshine Beach: A private beach resort with Piantas similar to Sirena Beach from SMS. Maybe you get to enter the hotel. Township Terrace- A very hard sectioned course based in a redesigned New Donk City. You travel through a theater, the city, hall, and a park. On the final section you are launched into the air and drive on the rooves of skyscrapers. Yoshi's Woolly Land: Based on YWW, this track is made entirely out of wool, fabric, and yarn and is a remote island similar to Yoshi's Island with Yoshis on the sidelines. Bowser's Castle: You start off by entering the castle, as usual, an avoid a massive amount of obstacles including Magmarghs, Charvarghs, and falling meteors. At the end there are three stone Bowser statues breathing fire and firing lasers from their eyes. Rainbow Road: Also a sectioned track and the hardest in a game, since it is Rainbow Road. The track is all anti-gravity with a lot of sharp turns and there are no siderails. Falling off causes you to get sucked into a black hole. It is decorated with a beautiful rainbow-colored track and stars and planets in the background. The track ends with a long glider section onto the finish line in front of a large audience of various Mario characters that are not playable characters, congratulating you on beating that game's final track.

You are LITERALLY a crazy person if you think Nintendo is going to remove the Koopalings. They know that they Koopalings-Roy, Morton and Lemmy in particular-are some of the most popular Mario kart 8 characters

Mariokart 10 (Tour is 9) will either be focused on one of two things... a track builder (which would suck because MK tracks are what MAKE the game) or expanding the universe and gameplay. A track builder would prevent Nintendo from being as creative as they want because track builders are limited in what they can do. But an expanded Mariokart could include more characters from other Nintendo games, bigger courses that change with every lap, near CGI quality graphics, and more courses based on other Nintendo games. But bigger tracks that change with every lap could be very appealing, so if you’re racing on a mansion track it goes from the outside lap one, inside lap two, attic lap three.

I wouldn't call Tour 9 when it's not the same formula as the mainline games. But yeah I would love a track builder. something like Mod Nation racers would be really cool. And dynamic tracks like with Sonic Transformed too. There's so much nintendo could do with this series, and they don't

I´m surprised people don´t ask for Mario characters from the RPG games. Personally I would love Paper Mario to appear in a Mario Kart game. As for the Nintendo characters I think Fox Mcloud would be another nice choice. Hell, his kart could be the Land master.

Honestly i think plessie would be better option than boom boom Plessie had recently a more important role with bowsers fury and probably would help to represent 3d world more Boom boom on the other hand is just another koopa when we have cooler choices and while yes he also represent 3dland/world but he is mostly a obscure character that was brought back here Plessie is soully from 3d world and while he is big we have gotten petey and honey queen so i dont think thats a problem and that dould make him a heavy weight Also i believe they should scrap the two villagers and make inkling boy a skin

If you think about it when this game comes out Odyssey 2 will probably have already came out so I would replace luma with the odyssey sand kingdom citizen

My top are Luma, Polterpup, Glydon and return of Honey Queen. Also odyssey natives like Shiverans would be so cool. Gotta heavily disagree with the Piantas, they are horrid and best left in Sunshine era or sunshine based tracks haha.

It's always bothered me how DK characters will get into games but not yoshi or wario characters. So I would put in Poochy, Captain Syrup, and Mona. Finally I've always wanted Stanley the Bugman and Foreman Spike to make a return, and with the movie it could be possible (atleast for Spike, we don't know if Stanley will make an appearance). However if I were allowed full control, I'd probably add a lot of Wario and DK and other forgotten characters into the game (especially before Link or Kirby) like Shokora, Merelda, Jimmy T, Aqualea, Mad, Arewo Shitain/Mad Scienstein, Tiny Kong, Cranky Kong, K Rool, Kalypso, DKJr (returning obviously), Tatanga, Wart, Eggplant Man, and Mouser.

Kamek is a yoshi character tho I agree on the wario part I think syrup could be the best choice since wario ware characters aren’t really added in Mario games while syrup literally appears in wario land which is basically super Mario land 3 also Forman spike is a great idea

@@crayCrab1258 I also consider kamek a yoshi character, but I think most don't agree with that sentiment so I just had it there. Also, I wish warioware, wario land, and wario puzzels (woods and Mario v wario) were all just one series together, because I would like all represented in some form. Also the note about human characters from Tennis 64 always stuck out to me so I champion mostly human characters like Stanley or Spike. However since the comment I've discovered Prince Pine and King Fret from Yoshi Safari. Extremely unlikely but I like to have fun lol

It's not a written rule that they have to be the exact same And if, like in that vid, you put Metal mario as alt of Mario despite the weight, I think you can put koopalings as alts of Bowser Jr despite the size difference
