Battle Mode predictions for Mario Kart 9.
Sorry about the 3 month wait for this video. But hey, better late than never right? Plus there's also been a bunch of MK9 rumours floating around recently, so I guess I ended up timing this video well.

Ive got a great battle mode idea: Bumper Kart Bumper Kart would be played in normal karts but with a twist they would have bumpers surrounding the wheels so that whenever you crash into someone you bounce way and the more speed you bump with will be the longer the length of track the other car goes. There would only be 1 Item, Mushrooms. It would be a last man standing battle played on an open course so that people fall off at the edge and have to spectate after. After 6 players are eliminated the track will turn into a boost pad making you go quicker and at 3 it will restart with each player in their own third.

I really do hope Mario Kart 9's Battle Mode is as in depth as it was in Kart 8 Deluxe

I know it's technically not a battle mode but I'd love to see a future game with a "Double Dash" mode

Mabye an elimination game mode. It would be like coin runners but after every 20 seconds or so the player with the lowest amount of coins will be eliminated and it keeps going until there’s one player left

"Waluigi pinball as battle course" I think it would be better to call it something like "pinball stadium" so it could have a number of pinball esc elements that waluigi pinball doesn't have, such as spinners, which would sort of randomly spin the direction of karts and items that hit it, and launchers, which would shoot karts/items out of it after they enter, and allow for playerscto steal balloons like if they had used a mushroom.

I came up with 3 new battle modes for mario kart 9. They are: 1. Balloon thief It's the same as balloon battle, but the only items are mushrooms, triple mushrooms, stars and feathers. The aim of the game is too steal your aponents balloons, whoever has the most balloons at the end of the game wins. Like most other modes, this mode has a selection of solo game and team game. 2. Survival It's the same as balloon battle but when a player loses all of his or her balloons, they get eliminated from the game. The last player standing wins. Again. This mode works with solo game and team game. Also, how many people you hit at the end of the game also expands your score. 3. Coin rush It's the same as coin runners and survival, but every 30 seconds, the player with the least amount of coins gets eliminated. Once again, this mode works as solo game and team game. Just like survival, the number of coins you collected after you get eliminated expands your score. And the minimum amount of time for this mode is 3 minutes. So what do you think about my modes?

Good ideas! I really like the idea of coin rush. Would be a lot of fun. Survival would be a lot better than the standard balloon battle as well. Balloon thief may be a little too similar to coin runners though, but maybe rather than it being one of the main modes, you could toggle some rules in the settings or something.

It's because in the game you can have mushrooms stars and feathers. With those items, you can steal others balloons. I just have a feeling it should have its own mode.

Maybe "Hide 'n' Seek" could be an idea for the game. I have seen some KZbinrs play that on CTGP before.

I would like nintendo to do what they did in wii and bring back 1 battle track from each past mario kart. 3:10 I agree with what you are saying about Funky Kong and Funky Stadium. But in Mario Kart 7, there was DS Waluigi Pinball but no Waluigi as a playable character.

Why wouldn’t they bring back any tracks from 3DS? That game has some very solid battle tracks
