People only figured out this year how to import their own custom tracks into F-Zero GX and there have already been a tun of tracks already. there's already a custom track of N64 Rainbow Road, from Mario Kart 64, which is amazing!

Some may say that the new Broken Pier is a bit too overwhelming, but I'm honestly happy the track is like this since in Super Circuit it is widely considered one of if not the hardest track in the game. The previous version was good but didn't have much of the difficulty the track was known for so it's an upgrade for me.

Troy and Mayro, this might be a big ask, but in the futuere could either of you make an up to date video on the different ways to play MKWii, installing tracks, what My Stuff is, how to play online, etc.? I really want to just the fun, but it’s honestly difficult to find a clear, up-to-date guide. Some guides say I can’t emulate and play online, and yet in some TWD vids this seems possible! Thank you both for all the entertaining content, but what Mayro said about My Stuff folder made me remember that a 2022 guide would be amazing and help more people enjoy the custom tracks and racing.

TWD98 already has a guide on installing custom tracks and so many other KZbinrs have done the same. I don't feel like the method to getting CTGP can get any simpler. Playing online is decently easy, it either comes with your install of CTGP already. Or you just launch a homebrew app to patch Wiimmfi in. My Stuff is simply a folder CTGP has for people to put in their own mods, these usually should just be character skins, textures or music as modifying stuff that affects gameplay (like changing items /vehicles or replacing tracks) can get cause a desync. I can answer any questions about getting homebrew/ CTGP on Wii. I am not capable of providing anything relating to getting Wiimmfi setup on Dolphin Emulator. If you have any specific questions, just ask.

@@Danewd98sChannelgaming Well TWDs video only covers installing CTs by installing CTGP. And as someone who only emulates, thats kinda unhelpful. I have a lot of questions, and I'll definitely ask you in the future when I have some time! But A fully comprehensive video about CTGP, emulation, Riivolution, whatever Lounge is. Literally all the different ways to play and their ins and outs would be extremely helpful, because a lot of videos I've watched are outdated or just explain one component, usually how to install CTGP... which is off to me since there is literally an install wizard. Why is the easiest part the only thing people care to explain? lol. Anyway, appreciate the offer. May ask you some questions soon, but wish this resource existed regardless.

Loving the editing, as an editor myself that was some spicy tracking at 23:28 lol I think it would be a cool feature if for each track there was small text on the bottom (somewhere out of the way that wouldnt block view of the gameplay) throughout the race saying something like “track: [track name]” or something like that, I think it would be convenient for people who aren’t as familiar with CTs

You know the style of track I'd love to see in CTGP someday? In Trackmania, courses are built by putting blocks together, discrete segments of track rather than building a course polygon by polygon. Some creators (mostly of the Kacky variety) like to make _barely functional_ tracks where none of the blocks line up, it looks like chunk errors from the Minecraft Beta days, and you have to have a high level of skill and knowledge of the car's handling and physics to find the path to the end. Someone should try to replicate this style in the MKWii engine (might be hard because items exist and varied kart stats exist, but I'm more about wanting to see the track _style_ of random block placement imitated).

I honestly vastly prefer you cover original tracks. I only really like retro tracks when they add their spin to it. Thats what made me like the last track so much more compared to every other retro. I think most original custom tracks have more fun with their layouts compared to the VERY SAFE Nintendo retros.
