Mario Kart DS: Wi-Fi Menu

One of my favorites from this game, this is the Wi-Fi menu music from Mario Kart DS.

When I hear this theme I think of 2005...everyone had a NDS, it was the best thing ever that we could race with each other in our living rooms. It was so much fun. This theme also beautifully goes with what its supposed to be. "Youre about to race against the whole world. Good luck."

I'm so nostalgic for this song, but I didnt even own the game growing up (or at least when all my friends played it). I think the reason why is, for me, this song means the wonder of the internet. Like, when I was first discovering KZbin as a child, I watched all these mario kart, pokemon and lego videos, and it was all so magical. I dont know...its hard to describe. I think its just the pure amazingness of the internet that we take for granted now, since it so common.

Good thing they added this song on the wifi menu so that way you can relax and be patient while you may be connecting with someone that might take a long time.

Relaxing music eh? I've never thought of it that way. But you're right. It's cool. Brings me so many memories from play Wi-Fi so much. I would just come home afterschool and just play this on Wi-Fi.

I only played Wi-Fi for this game.. Twice or three times, thats it.. Everyone was such quitters. Especially when you were winning or close to the finish line

heard this song sooooo many times when I was borrowing my friends mkds and semi-broken ds (top screen scrwed up) and then the top screen dc'd off the ds, and it would not turn on anymore....so he took back mkds, and now I have a gold triforce ds lite, and I so want this game again! good song

I used to, it seems Nintendo had a contract with McDonalds to provide Nintendo DS compatible wifi, but it expired, and does not work anymore. :(

My router doesn't work, but I bought a Nintendo WiFi USB connector a long time ago. Apparently they don't sell that anymore either.
