Hey Troy... Showing the picture of the checkpoints on Sherbet Land, i'm wondering since the finish line doesn't go into the water, and if you jump off the edge lap 3 the lap won't end. so im wondering if on lap 3 you could spin hop and jump around the poll on to the others side not triggering the final lap to end

Physics on this game are so insane :D when it comes to KCL and KMP, this is where the game seems to have these problems. I can't wait to see if any of these glitches (except for the rSL glitch) may be possible in the future :D Great video Troy and very informative. Even though I already knew most of this by researching this on my own and reading the forums page, it is nice to clarify this to everyone else who doesn't understand Mkwii physics like us glitchers do :D

In the tool assisted footage by blaze on sherbet land it used 3 mushrooms to do it so there's two different ways u could probably do it more efficiently 1. Use 1 mushroom to clip the wall and then stand still miny turbo to reach where the respawn is set and do that 3 times 2. Do the first 2 laps on sherbet land with funky (no mushrooms) and do the glitch with all three mushrooms do get a better time than Sword

No, I done the glitch before (I'm the 10th person in the world to pull it off with a 20.866 flap (7th worldwide). Check it out my channel if you don't believe me. Guy even commented on the run.) Anyways, Guy taught me how to align for the glitch because we are friends in the community and I can tell you it is not possible with 1 mushroom. It is barely possible with 2 shrooms. Also doing the first 2 laps first would be the same speed as doing them after the glitch on lap 1. The only way it could be done faster (and Guy tried this already on stream with many failed WR improvement runs) is if you do a lap with a mushroom first then do the glitch with 2 shrooms on another lap and then complete the run. Guy told me he might try it again sometime. Trust me though. I got really lucky doing this glitch. I couldn't have made it without Guy helping me :D You can't be too far left or the lap won't count. I failed many rSL glitches by being too far left by only one frame :D

This makes me wonder... are glitches good or bad? Because there are people who hate Mario Kart 8 because it has barely no glitches (which I think it's not something people should complain about) :P People recognize Mario Kart Wii mostly because of its glitches, and I have to say that they're fun to watch and perform but I think we've broken this game too much. I'm not complaining about that, though... I rarely play Mario Kart Wii as I don't plan to get Wiimmfi and because Mario Kart 8 is as fun to play as Mario Kart Wii, but these glitches have raised my interest on it. Big ups to Blaze!

People like sword0fseals keep separate records for tts done with glitches than ones without glitches, such as grumble volcano. And anyone who uses them in a race online will either fail or get a cheap win, but no one seems to want to use them in a rac. Only people who feel like trolling. For the most part, they are just fun

It's funny that you say you enjoy Mario Kart Wii's physics and glitches, when I personally grew to hate the game because of how inconsistent runs could be because of whacky physics and, frankly, careless track design. It's for this reason that I love Mario Kart 64, DS, and 8 the most. Moreso 8 than anything, but 64 and DS are classics.
