Honestly, aside from 8 deluxe obviously, I think this game has the best selection of tracks, both new and old. The new ones are all super unique, and the remakes look really good.

My rankings. Bad: 16. Dry Dry Ruins: Boring. Okay: 15. Grumble Volcano: Memorable, but not the best. 14. Luigi Circuit: Good start, but I've seen better. 13. Wario's Gold Mine: Fun, but hard enough to take Dry Dry Desert's place. Pretty good: 12. Moo Moo Meadows: Same problem as Dry Dry Desert, but it's the 2nd track in the game, so it deserves a break. 11. Bowser's Castle: Great, but it lost me when I had to drive through a corridor of nothing but Thwomps. 10. Daisy Circuit: Really good, but it would work better as an "Isle Delfino" level. Great: 9. Mario Circuit: Take note, Mario Kart 8, because THIS is how to do a Circuit level. With interesting visuals, fun obstacles, and an all around good design, it will keep you interested. 8. Maple Treeway: Don't get me wrong, it's a great course, just not my favorite. But with beautiful visuals, and great music, it got this far. 7. DK Summit: There is so much that this course did right. The music, the obstacles, the difficulty, and even small details, like the screen showing characters around the stage. I also love doing tricks at the end. Bonus points for Shy Guys on snowboards. 6: Koopa Cape: This level is amazing! I love the water park feel, I love the underwater tube near the end, I even love the water coaster leading to the waterfall. Almost perfect! Amazing: 5. Toad's Factory: There's a lot to say here. I love the conveyor belts, I love the hydraulic crushers, I love the moving platform, I love drifting around the main factory, I even love the final booster segment! From aesthetics to difficulty, this course has everything. 4. Coconut Mall: I never thought I would enjoy going to the mall in a video game, yet here we are. The escalators are a cool concept, I love the branching paths near the end, the idiots driving back and forth are a fun obstacle, and the music is great. 3. Mushroom Gorge: You're expecting a long winded explanation on why I love this course. It's pretty simple. The Mushrooms. Bouncing around on them is fun. Not to mention the music. 2. Moonview Highway: I love driving up the mountainside, I love avoiding all of the traffic, I just love the pure chaos of this track. Some people say this track is bad because it's tough, but I disagree. The best: 1. Rainbow Road: Big surprise, huh? I love this track. The music is flawless, the design is great, and the difficulty is perfect. All around a perfect end to the game.

My God, I missed the old days. When Mariokart 8 Deluxe was coming out, I was praying that these original levels would return. Unfortunately I was mistaken by modern Nintendo. But it’s probably for the best, anyways. I love those original graphics and un-rebooted soundtrack, it wouldn’t be the same with all of those replaced with modern technology we all know today. I just wanted to get a glimpse of my beloved childhood again. And by God, I missed King Boo. If anything good came out of MK8D, it was that my old friend came back to play. When I was growing up with that box-shaped console, I spent hours having the time of my life playing this very game. After getting a Wii-U, Nintendo Switch, and now a PS4, I missed those memories. Thank you for bringing back those great memories of my childhood that I missed.
