4:13 I knew it was a thing, and it actually bothers me that they made that area drivable, but still decided to put an unavoidable glider ramp over it. I don't see the point of unavoidable glider ramps where getting hit by an item sends you to a part of the track that's actually drivable (case in point: Neo Bowser City, Rock Rock Mountain, Rome Avanti, Paris Promenade on laps 1 and 2). I also think that only one of the glider ramps on Twisted Mansion should be there, to allow access to the top section

I like those gimmick concepts, especially the hover bikes and Wonder Flower. Driving underwater can be part of the Wonder Flower gimmick. Fun fact, Mario Kart 8's new gimmick was originally going to be centered around drills, but it was changed to anti-gravity due to the drill gimmick "not being interesting enough." Another gimmick I can think of that comes from the arcade games is the portals. These can allow players to race on their favorite tracks (like Wii Toad's Factory and DS Airship Fortress) in a race mode identical to the Quick GP mode from Super Circuit, kind of like the Stage Morphs from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

@@natedawg19 Think of a wonder flower frenzy or something like that, how insane it could be. Also, there should be shops like in Tour too. But you buy things with coins as opposed to rubies or real money. Or make rubies easier to get. Like huge quantities of rubies after winning several races in 150cc or something like that.

Because Tour is considered to be Mario Kart 9 because of the Booster Course Pass
