My favorite: 4: Superstar Saga. It is epic, yet classic. 3: Dream Team. It's beautiful, and adventurous 2: Partners in Time. It's strong, yet relaxing. 1: Bowser's Inside Story. It gets me every time. It's epic, beautiful, and has nostalgic material.

My Thoughts/Opinions of these Soundtracks. SS: Starts of very sinister-like, then the rock comes in and you know some serious crap is going down! PiT: Despair, Depression, and Darkness all mixed into this Final Epic Boss theme! BiS: I'm loss for words of how epic this is, the use of Piano and the other instruments is just mind-bending Amazing! DT: now THIS is one HECK OF A FINAL BOSS THEME. Like BiS this has a great use of Piano and other elements, dang this actually sounds like it came from another game....but which one?

To me, i prefer BiS. I loved the game so much! The battles, the characters, the story, and of course, the music. Heck, im replaying the game right now! Just want to add, the mario and luigi RPGs are the first RPGs to have turn style combat that isnt "you hit me, now i hit you". LOVE!

The Elder Princess Shroob was an intense fight for me as I eventually ran out of healing items and BARELY Won in the end. That fight took me hours. Also running out of 99 giant fire sun flowers ( Forgot the name sorry it was a long time ). It was just a really intense one for me.

M&L1: Sounds like whole bunch of punching sound effects. And I love it for it. M&L2: This is epic and all, but this song kinda over shadows every other track in the game's amazing soundtrack. M&L3: Also over shadows every other song. But who cares? Bowser's playable. M&L4: Not as memorable as the others, but then again I played the other 6-15 times and I'm now just on my second play through. Antasma's battle is more memorable though. And not because I was stuck on him.

@Jonah Laining If we're talking the series as a whole. I haven't played much of the franchise since. But Adventure's End has grown on me. This very lowkey compared to the rest though. And in case if you're curious: M&L5: Same with Dream Team, not that memorable to me musically but it is one of my favorites in this series to play. Wouldn't be able to remember the Final Boss theme though. M&L1DX: I hate this version, I'm not very charitible of copy-and-paste remakes that fall flat or fail to capture the charm. These songs weren't translated well to the 3DS. But when a song hits it does it well. (I don't wanna talk about the Bowser's Minions themes) M&L3DX: I didn't finish this. Partially because I forced myself to play Jr.'s Journey (an improvement over Bowser's Minions but not enough) between every major boss and I lost interest. The other reason is that AlphaDream made sure I got sick of M&L with how close Paper Jam, Bowser's Minions, and Jr.'s Journey released. But musically... from what I heard. It's fine. From what I remember is that it sounded different enough yet so familiar that it weirded me out, but it's fine I like that they redid it in this case. Even if I don't think real-ish intruments reall suit the pre-Dream Team M&L games. I don't think I've ever listened to the final boss theme here though.

In M&L 1, you fight Cackletta's Soul inside Bowser's body. In M&L 2, you fight Elder Princess Shroob who was revived by Bowser's past self. In M&L 3, you fight Dark Star Core inside Bowser's body. In M&L 4, you fight a fusion of Bowser and the Dream Stone.

SS was the most epic for me. It took me a hole hour of non-stop fighting. At last cackletta was getting weak ,but then she knocked Luigi out. I had no more 1 up mushrooms left. Mario was barely alive with 3 HP left. I decided to jump and go out in a literal blaze of glory, and that's when I beat her. After that I watched the ending and took a shower because I was sweating... A LOT.

My favorite boss fights are from 2 and 3. On Partners, the music ads this tension to the fight, wich works since you're not just fighting against the princess shroob or just another alien, you're fighting against literally a Monster. That's also willing to sacrifice her body and soldiers just to kill 2 plumber and their baby forms. That's desperate and atrocious. So the music is more a tension one, most likely when fighting a giant, desperate monster. On the other hand, Bowser's is more engaging, where both "hero" and villain are square in terms of a fight, and the theme brings up the balance of good vs. evil, and the only one that can break this balance and win for their side are the ones fighting inside those two. So it's a fast pacing balanced fight theme.

M&L Superstar Saga- This boss was pretty hard, it was a good theme also, I say they put good effort in the game. M&L Partners In Time- ...Fucking hardest final boss ever. Princess shroob is fucking hard to beat, not only that you have to beat her sister after that two more times! They all have a lot of health and are just fucking hard to beat! M&L Bowsers inside story- This game was pretty good, but short and pretty easy, the bosses were actually really awesome in this game, but still easy, not much effort but it's still good. But you know what could be awesome? If you played as Bowser and fought Mario and Luigi! Instead of the other way around M&L Dream team- My favorite one out of all of them, it took me over 40 hours but I still beat it. And in hard mode, this game was really awesome. Antasma is just awesome in the game, it was pretty hard actually, they put good effort into the game.

We need a Mario and Luigi game that is EXTREMLY long, I'm talking 100 hours or more, yeah I know sounds crazy, but it would give all boss battles and especially the final boss a lot more meaning. All of the titles except for Dream Team, were too short for me. The next Mario and Luigi needs to be double the length of Dream Team. I know it would take a long time, but it would be worth the wait.

Every final boss in the Mario and Luigi Series has some shade of purple on them... Cackletta's Soul: Completely purple. Elder Princess Shroob: Completely purple. Dark Bowser: Purple skin and shell. Dreamy Bowser: Rainbow. Rainbows include the colour purple.

M&L PinT is one of my best Nostalgia games ever... Cuando jugué Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time quede fascinado con un Tema tan "épico" y "apocalíptico" luego jugué Super Paper Mario... quede perdido con el tema de Dimentio, decir que lo oía las 24 horas del día... depuse llego BiS y llegue al jefe final... me gusto tanto que incluso lo clasifique como "La mejor Track que e oído en mi vida hasta ahora"... pero llega DT con Dreamy Bowser... y me hace entrar en un estado de "mejoraron lo inmejorable, esto es mejor que todo lo anterior"...

Huh... You know, now that I think about it, when Bowser swallows the fragments of the dream stone he is transformed into a pseudo-god. He has two of the things that true gods in legend are known for: 1) The power to create something out of nothing. 2) A physical appearance that seems unfitting for the current plane of existance. The only thing he is missing is the invulnerability/immortality. Also, the theme seems to suggest that he has ascended to something more than he ever was before. Heck, the only reason he isn't unbeatable is because he doesn't know how to use his new powers to their fullest. HEY! That's an idea. The fifth games primary antagonist could be a cantankerous or dark god.

We kinda had 2 semi gods by that then, Dark Star and Dreamy Bowser both can create things out of nothing, the Dark Star can heal itself with the Dark Star Core to make itself almost invincible... and copy any beings DNA as seen by it transforming into Dark Bowser... We need fan theories now on which is the stronger final boss :3

I would have to say that Dreamy Bowser is the stronger of the two, since normal Bowser could fight the Dark Star copy of himself on even terms even when it got a power boost from the core. Speaking of which, using the power of the Dream stone, he could likely form some kind of barrier to keep Dark Bowser and the Dark Star core seperate if he had the time to learn how to use the Dream Stone to it's fullest. Maybe even attack the core directly when it is vulnerable.

Final Boss Music Ratings SS: I find this music the weakest of the 4, but that's to be expected from the GBA installment. PiT: I don't think this music fit's the mood, but it is pretty good for a final boss in general. BiS: I think that this music is ether the best or a close 2nd, It dose match the mood and and get's you hyped for the fight. DT: I think that this music is ether a close 2nd or the best of the 4, It is a great final boss theme, and it dose show you what's at stake. Final Boss Battle Ratings SS: I like this battle a lot because you have to start this battle with 1 HP and it offers a challenging fight. PiT: I know this is an awesome fight because regardless of what happens, one kingdom falls after this fight ends. BiS: I find this fight to be the weakest of the 4, The fight as a whole dose work as a Boss, but not a Final Boss. DT: I love this fight because it is the perfect balance of music, difficulty, and urgency. Colby Miller C all the way, that boss fight was amazing, creative, original, and very cool all the way around. The only problem I had with it is that they didn't compensate for the progression of the player, and it was too easy to beat. I beat it first try on a speed run with nothing but Magicoopas, Shy Guys, Snack Basket, and the Spin Pipe.

Trust me, DT is so goddamn hard, its unbelievable. Not only is the final boss hard as fuck(not even in hard mode), but the boss before him wrecks your shit as well, with some attacks that are borderline split-second timing and guessing to dodge. Have fun(If you haven't already beaten it.)!

SS: You KNOW it just got real when you hear this. Is it fear I see before your eyes? PiT: This has a finality to it. While the least impressive of the bunch, it instills a chilling feeling. BiS: The forever famous song. This is THE song that sums up a battle. I don't care what some say, this song is NOT overrated. DT: My personal favorite. This song has its own distinct flavor of the Mario series we have grown up to love. I love the fact that Bowser is the boss. This theme does him service.

The Partners in time one is my favorite because of a memory I had with the game.I was a bad player, I had no 1-ups or mushrooms left .I started to get killed, and then Mario and luigi both died.It was up to the babies to win the battle, then Baby Mario goes down, now, it is up to baby luigi.Luigi has 1 HP left. I knew she was almost dead, so I attacked her over and over, and I did the last blow on her. Because of what happened, the music really fit because I was about to die and it was dramatic
