Y’know I never did thought about why the shroobs attacked earth. But now I get it. This wasn’t an invasion, it was desperation. Thinking about it now, it’s kind of sad.

Yes, the reason the Shroobs attacked is because their home planet was withering and looking for a new home to reside. The music as shown in the final battle is no exception compared to “you’re screwed” in Superstar Saga and showing determination in Bowser’s Inside Story.

At least in Nan The Keyblade Master’s Mario and RWBY crossover series, some of the shroobs survives, 50 to be precise. I just wish that the aliens asked for a new home first. We could’ve avoided all this bloodshed if they just asked for a place to call home.

But the Shroobs just hop from planet to planet until its just an empty husk of a planet. They are a belligerent species who enjoy destruction and violence. They didn't come peacefully, they bombarded the kingdom at first chance. And even as they were in their most "diplomatic approach" had them deliver a message before shooting their interlocutors down!

You can hear it in Mario’s and luigi’s voices that they didn’t want things to be like this. It sounds as if they could have been willingly to give the Shroobs a chance if they came peacefully, but instead they attacked them and his home. Now they are forced to fight and take down the queen to save their world. While at the same time, dooming an entire race to extinction.

True. At least in some timelines, like one of Nan The Keyblade Master’s stories, the Shroobs do have a happy end. If only they decided to talk first before shooting. However, those idiot aliens drew first blood, Mario and Luigi simply were protecting their home.

thinking that if the shroobs are just trying to survive, watching, the heroes do the right thing, but... if you put yourself in the sad eyes of the shroob princess, she is just trying for her people to survive ,this is very sad, to think that all she wants is to return to her sister, the truth is, this song perfectly represents the villain you can tell they wouldn't want to take any chances, they directly attacked the mushroom kingdom just for fear that it wouldn't receive them, HOW DESPERATE WOULD THEY HAVE TO BE? they are very sorry true, even if they are villains

I dont know if im alone in it or not but with an antagonist faction as blatantly desperate as the shroobs, I cant help but imagine it as the twin princesses as being as much of a prisoner to their own fate as their subjects. The leader of a faction is supposed to be a strong and capable person, at least by human standards, and judging by their loyalty, they clearly look up to the two princesses. We sadly have no way of knowing for sure and im significantly less informed than the average lore historian, but I think they inherited their situation, and had to face leading a people who were desperate for a better life and were unified in this desire, and thus they had no choice but to invade the first planet they saw as being capable of housing them, which was unfortunately the one that held the mushroom kingdom in the past. Its more than likely that they were just as scared as the natives of the mushroom kingdom were that they were going to lose their homes forever, but had to put on a brave face for the simple idea that maybe they wouldnt have to deal with the horrors of living on a rogue planet without a star to give them light. I think the two princesses were also the embodiment of the two major aspects of their society, which I interpret as Logic and Emotion. The younger princess made extensive use of her gadgets and machines both throughout the game and in her fight, leading her to be the embodiment of a unified intellegence with the goal of finding a solution at any cost. But in desperate times, logic and reason will always give way to brutal strength and savagery. When the younger princess was defeated, the wrath of the elder sister was unleashed, as if the younger was the only one holding back their ravenous need to secure this haven. When the fight finally breaks out between the mario bros and the elder princess, we see all that anger and desperation released at once. She is the last line of defense for everything the shroobs have worked so hard for, and fights the brothers initially with brute strength and even using some gadgets like her sister. As she gets weaker however, her resolve holds fast, only for her to explode into a wild frenzy during her second phase. She fails to yield to reason and gives in to raw emotion and hate. Hate for these two(four) plumbers who took her sister, and who dismantled their whole kingdom for what is ironically the exact same reason the shroobs are fighting. In the end, they just werent strong enough to secure their home and thus the shroobs went screaming into extinction. In the end, the shroobs were too blind in their desperation to seek out less violent means of achieving their goal, and they paid the price, however I personally just cant say that that's entirely their fault. When the desperation is strong enough, even the wisest and most logically sound humans will result to some desperate measure. Wether for ourselves or someone else, we'll always eventually find someone to fight for, and the harm that may come will seem worth it for the sake of that. At the end of the day, we need to realise that just because someone in our daily lives seems like the antagonist of our story, they too could be fighting for something important to them, be it family, comfort, or even just keeping food on the table. The best we can do is to extend an olive branch and comfort the fallen. We never know who might really need the kindness. One day going bad enough can ruin anyone.

Elder Princess Shroob’s crown deflects any damage dealt to her. You have to get rid of her legs, which makes her crown vulnerable. Then, you have to attack her crown. After her crown is deactivated, you can start hammering damage.

Well, Boom-Fanfic a Latta! is working on a second version on her minion cover with more Bowser lines (and Bowser Jr will join in take back Bowser’s Castle while his father takes on Dark Bowser) while FireSpur Yetto is working on a second version of his Dark Minion cover. More people asked me to part of my mashup whether it would be singing lines or lines for the cutscenes before and after the final battle including the ending. FrazierAnimations voiced Dark Bowser, Kamek, Toadsworth, Private Goomp, Sergeant Guy, Corporal Paraplonk and Mario & Luigi’s voice clips while Heidi voiced both Starlow and Princess Peach. Again I’m combining both main game and Bowser Jr’s Journey into one. And finally, the footage will be the 3DS version to truly differ from my previous versions despite stuff that are not as good as the original such as attacks that are now easy to predict (except for some), frequent slowdowns and the music KEEPS PLAYING before finishing Dark Bowser which really killed the mood.
