Imagine if the lyrics mean something else? “Facing off the hand of God” could imply they’re fighting against Nintendo’s control. “Face to Face against the sun” could imply them seeing us when we turn the console on. See what I’m getting at? This could be a way to show that the Miis are sentient in a way and we just see them as mere objects, lines of code to be discarded when we no longer need them. Honestly, Idk what to say but thank you all for making these incredibly high quality musical covers of some of my favourite video game themes in the last 2 years. This one was definitely the one I least expected ANYONE to cover because, I mean, it's Miitopia... I'm pretty sure there's like 10 people who love this game as much as I do, but I'm SO thrilled you gave it a chance. I love that Alex decided to include the protagonists singing instead of just making this a Darkest Lord solo (tho given how unironically hard some of his lyrics are for a Miitopia song, I wouldn't complain at all). Especially with how their lyrics are counter versions of the Darkest Lord's, it makes this song feel like a fight, which is perfect for a boss FIGHT. I'd love to see more song covers (mainly final boss themes) do something similar in the future. Also, funny contrast between the channels Super Villain rebrand and the members being the heroes.

I don’t know what it is, but the fact that a character always sacrifices themself to save someone else right after the reduce to one hp attack always gets me in the feels a little. It really makes you feel like it’s the final fight, that everyone’s putting their last bits of energy into it, that all the bonds that have been formed are being tested at the very end. …it also makes it immensely funny watching failboat’s play through, where the cool quirk Shan’t just prevented the sacrifice from happening altogether and the intended person got downed regardless lol

I think one of the most creative ways the game and the lyrics work is the juxtaposition of Darkest Lord with the imagery of God, lord, and the sun, three representations of light but yet it's the Darkest Lord. The Darkest Lord is also seeking attention, and what calls attention more than a sun god? It acts like a symbol for true light in the Heroes that fight and the true darkness that reflects the personality of the Darkest Lord, who also says that he wants to leave everyone else in darkness despite acting as the sun.

Seeing this made me really happy. I went through the whole main story of Miitopia, and I believe it’s a really underrated and ‘judged by it’s cover’ game- like I think that it’s underrated because people see the game and think ‘oh this is a goofy game with no real depth into it, pass’ when in all reality, it’s a goofy game with a *surprisingly* epic storyline and underrated OST (See: boss fight themes, fab fairy trio’s individual songs and the fab fairy melody-)

OH MY GOD!!!! Miitopia is my favorite game of all time. I played it on the 3Ds and thought it was the greatest thing of all time. A perfect RPG like I always dreamed where it was just classes and turn based fights with super unique, cool, interactive and immersive abilities. That being paired with my Tomadachi island full of all my favorite people made this game such a gem for me. You can only imagine how sad I've been that it's really such an unknown, underappreciated game today. Seeing this fills me with joy! I can't wait to get it on the switch too- but yeah. Appreciate everything on this channel so much- it's given me hours of listening time and always supports all my facorite games I just love you guys on the team a bunch. *Stay awesome!* :]
