Making a 3D game editor for a Nintendo Switch would be hard tho. Not only because of the controls needed to make the camera movement similar to a game engine's, but also requires modeling in 3D from the users. Nintendo is likely to think it would be too hard for users, so a different approach could be making an editor similar to the map maker from SMM2, but it still has the problem of alignment of objects since each one has different spaces and making a 3D grid is harder as they have another dimension, I don't know if you get me.

They could do something similar to what they do in Game Builder Garage, where you press a button in the editor to go from side editing view to top-down and vice versa.

I think both makers and player would get overwhelmed at having that many game styles, that's if the team could actually make that much content. (3D World in Maker 2 was threadbare compared to the other Styles, to the point they slapped an "Extra" label on the only new game theme.) Trying to keep 3D Land, 3D World, and Bowser's Fury straight sounds like a headache.

Well bowsers fury and sm3dw have the same graphics so their would be no point for both of them . Some bowser fury elements like maybe cats could get added to 3d world. Also mario sunshine galaxy and odyssey have completely different controls and abilities in them so adding them would have to mean 3 separate things entirely, which didnt go well in smm2 for 3d world, the only styles that could actually get into a 3d mario maker are sm64, sm3dl, and sm3dw
