The maps from Superstars were supposed to only be the N64 ones. As for the minigames, I guess they just forgot about them, or were waiting to use on a DLC that never came.

I love how all the DS' capabilities are used. The touch screen, the microphone, the gyroscope, all the buttons. It also has cool bosses. This is my favorite Mario Party game

After playing Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario Party Superstars, Super Mario Party, Mario Party 8, island Tour, Star Rush, Mario Party 10, and finally, the Top 100, DS reigns supreme for me! This game truly has the best minigames of all mario parties! The soundtrack goes so hard, I have such fond memories playing download play with my friends when we were kids and revisiting it on Wii U virtual console recently! The minigames from this game are truly unmatched! There were very few duds in this game, and everything felt like it worked perfectly, and there were no issues with any of the minigames for me! Probably because there were no motion controls! The only problem is when playing on Wii U virtual console, the top and bottom screens are often inconsistent and make the game a bit harder at times, but it's really minor. Truly the best mario party game ever made! I miss these minigames, and after playing it, they can absolutely remake some minigames from here if they dont use the touch screen or dual screen! I really wish they would! What's your guy's favorite minigame? I love flash and dash so much!

Some of these games made it into my nightmares because they just had that much of an effect on me. Camera Shy, Trash Landing, Crater Crawl, Flash and Dash, Mole Thrill (especially if you’ve seen those pirated videos, they’re pretty much what I thought happens if the mole catches you), Cheep Chump, and Short Fuse specifically. I miss Hudson.

The pirahna plant boss fight is easily the hardest boss fight because of how hard you need to mash the A button to stay in the air. I resorted to holding the DS upsidedown (i'm a lefty) and vibrating my arm to mash the A button enough to finally beat it.
