Although I don`t think it has anything to do with culture (which is way over-rated). If anything, many of SP episodes display a sort of sacrilegeous nihilism.

The episodes themselves demonstrate only a sense of mocking incongruity, and the creators have made it very clear that, although they are ready and willing to mock religious ideas, the idea that only the material exists and that "we're just here and for no reason" is the absolute height of idiocy.

I remember my school's anti-bullying campaigns and zero tolerance policies they'd swap out every year. I remember being threatened with suspension the second time I answered hands with hands. I remember the vice principal preaching at me about how we were both wrong and how I could've hurt the punk who could tuck me under his nose.
