Making a tassel on a cord

Making a tassel with my arms around the camera was hard, but I managed.
I used 60 threads for the tassel, 15 of each color.
I wrapped the yarn around a credit card. If you want longer tassels you can wrap the yarn around a cd case.
The threads of my tassel look very straight. This is because I held the threads above steaming water. Please be careful when you do this, do not burn your fingers.

Same. Except it was after, but my Mom wanted the cords for openhouse. The cord isn't perfect, but it is way better than it was(thanks to the kitties).

You are so wonderful to have provided this demonstration. You helped me to replace the tassel on the corner of a pillow. It had come off, and now it's repaired and I thank you for showing me how to do it ;)))

I learned so much from your video, thank you! I also appreciate not having to listen to blaring annoying music :D The only thing that bothered me was the placement of your ring, I don't know why I was so unsettled by your ring lol I'm not OCD or anything...that I know of.

I am glad that my video has helped you. I understand that my ring can be a little distracting, but I need it. The ring is a brace, it is called a silver splint. The ring prevents my thumb from bending 90 degrees the wrong way.

I don’t have a video for this exact cord. In this video I show how to make a Kumihimo cord with 16 yarns, kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXybgYaDYsR1j68. If you want to know the set up for the blue cord, then please send me a personal message on Facebook or Instagram. Unfortunately I cannot share a picture here.
