It depends on what you need more and what you like more, if you need more an ice Valk over a Phys one, go for Thelema, but if not, go for Songque. In my case since I have HoH:Ego full gear and still doing good numbers I would go for Songque since I don't really have a good Phys DPS.

Songque only has half the Crit Conversion combo HoRB has: the part that turns excess crit RATE into DAMAGE, so without Sera (who turns excess DAMAGE into Rate until 100%) Sena+Thel are subject to crit RNG like any phys team without HoRB If you'll notice, the "damage tests" numbers Marisa showed use SS Serapeum, who ensures Songque will always crit due to topping off her crit rate.

I was hoping the same because I love Seele, but unless Songque stigma effect specifies "impair when unimpaired", her 50% impair will replace Seele's 75% impair. She also seems to be very reliant on Stellar Outburst to deal damage, so that's another issue Maybe you could try putting another stigma set on Songque or only 2 pieces, but I fear it may be suboptimal

I have 0 physical dd, but Songque's rerun will be fast, so I can save up for it. How much worse are Thelema's craft weapons than her signature weapon? Elemental opponents can be defeated by another element after all. But physical usually reduces the damage of all elemental characters, this inclines me to the idea of pulling Songque, but I'm not sure how much weaker the crafted weapons are and when the Thelema rerun will be

Thelemas utility is heavily locked behind her weapon, as for sonque we are sure yet. Also when it comes to breaking the barrier, it's always better do this sooner than later since low brackets in abyss still give more than before and you can get crystals for SSS bosses. The gap between weapon and no weapon is huge for Thelema and there's a spending event next patch, but I'd wait until more songque info is released

- Mars has its own Will of Honkai - Songque beats it with the power of Astral Ring, a power supposedly from Mars's Herrscher of Finality - After the battle is over, Songque absorbs the AR power or something, and becomes this. It was never explained properly. She actually never used this form in the story.

Everything is good except she has a suck QTE dmg/animation and her [Golden state] Enhanced combo attack dmg is lower than her Enhanced Basic Attack. Depending on situation, its better to just skip her [Golden state] Enhanced combo attack, by directly activate the Ultimate to end the Stellar Outburst early to refund some AR meter for next sequence run.😎 ps: Songque - Jovial Deception: Shadowdimmer (JDS) gameplay is very easy to understand than Lantern - Shadowchaser.

It’s cheaper to build individual characters but all the new characters have been wanting the last 2 new characters to be good making team building expensive. Assuming you are unlucky that’s like 150(?) pulls per character+weapon each patch. It’s harder to keep up with since they don’t give you breaks anymore or at least somewhat skippable valks since part 2 valks have powercrept part 1 valks pretty hard. I would say Lantern has been the most skippable part 2 valk since she was a minor increase over Coralie for Thelema as a support but now she might be a BiS support for the new Songque. I just hope Lantern support isn’t that much better than Sena support for her so I can actually catch a break this patch.
